Re: Salt licks
I don't know what the laws are in other states but in MN. any lick that has a trace of any kind of food or grain in it is not allowed. It will be considered baiting unless all traces of it are removed 10 days before season.

Re: Grim reaper broadhead
I can say what happens on the foam target as I use the practice heads. But all the deer I have taken both the inter. and exit hole had all blades deployed.

Quiver ?
I practice with my quiver on the bow because in some places I have no choice but to leave it on. What is bothering me is that after 2-3 shots the quiver has come lose. Short of loctite on the lock down screw what can I do to keep the quiver tight. This is the quiver that comes with the excel. 330 pa...

Re: Black Bear as tabel fair
I would agree with those that have said how the bear in the field is every thing. I have only had 3 bear dealings , 2 was helping friends that shot the bear as a pest. The first one the guy shot the bear but did not call until the next morning. He didn't want to track at night. I helped him get the ...

Re: Opinions favorite deer cart
Having a bad ticker my dragging days are long gone and the use of a cart is not much better. I am blessed to be allowed the hunt 80 acers of private land and allowed to use my atv to put stands in place and recover game. Once I get to the game I pull it to a tree, then hang a pulley in the tree with...

Re: Arrow question for new suppressor
I don't know if the 2216's would work or not but Easton puts out a 2219 arrow for the cross bow. They come at 22 or 20 inch. I have cut them to 16" for my matrix 330 and that seems to be working fine. My total length, including 100 gr. grim reaper bh and lum. lighted nock is 18 5/16, balance po...

Re: Is anyone deer hunting at 100+ yards?
Something for you to consider trying. rig up your 100 yard target with a pole or something off to the side and put a snatch block on it. Get enough rope to run from your target to you shooting position. Place target on something smooth enough that it can slide attach rope to target and run it back t...

Re: How hot is too hot for you to hunt
I live in N central MN and season starts mid Sept. and runs to Jan 1. I have seen days that I was a little over dressed but never have seen it to hot.

Re: Scope Trouble
Thanks guy's, will try calling Dan. I wasn't sure if there would still be a warranty on the scope or not although the set up is only 3 years old.

Scope Trouble
Setting in my blind one day and took a peak at a bird, to my surprise the cross hairs in my scope looked tilted. I checked every thing to make sure there were no lose screw's, other then me, all was good. When I got home I got the bow and set up level and checked scope again. Cross hairs were tilted...

Re: Silencing options
You will never quit your bow as fare as a deer is concerned. I blew a shoot this year because of noise. Had the deer ranged at 35 yrds. when I flipped the safety off on my matrix 330,uasally I easy the safety off. At any rate it had a slight click to it and the deer came alert at the sound and waste...
