First you have to remove the threaded aluminum nock on the firebolts. Here is the shortcut to a previous post that explains how.

Re: Factory Firebolts with Lumenoks...
You know what Paulaboutform? The same arrows shot out of my Ibex with no problems. I may just take the Exomax to Kitchener the next time I'm down that way and have them check it out. Might be something with the bow. Thanks.

Re: Factory Firebolts with Lumenoks...
[quote="paulaboutform"]I have not heard of a properly loaded, stock arrow with any flat nock causing a dry fire.
Well now you have. I will take your advise though and square them off, see if that helps.

Re: Factory Firebolts with Lumenoks...
Had 3 partial dry fires in a row last night shooting firebolts with lumenoks. Doesn't seem to be any damage to my Exomax but seriously thinking about changing to moon nocks. Not sure why this happened, maybe got some rail lube on the end of the nocks?

Re: Tree Stand Safety Line
The 5/8" (25') rope is brown but I had to buy white 3/8" (5') for the sliding knot.
Total cost taxes in $20.

Re: Tree Stand Safety Line
I used 5/8" polypropylene for the main line (5580# min breaking strength)
and 3/8" braided nylon for the sliding rope (3240# min breaking strength)
Bought both at Home Depot.

Tree Stand Safety Line
A simple way to make your own tree stand safety line. Most falls occur getting into or out of the tree stand. If you don't already have one you owe it to yourself and your family to get one. Have fun and be safe.

Re: Power stroke/Draw lenght
PST is right. Better to find out before than after. I believe the Excals are legit but if your not sure it doesn't hurt to check.
