Trigger problems "UPDATE"
My trigger problems are not a concern at this time, so I have edited this post.
I'm not really overly concerned with it at this time. As long as it shoots and I am getting my practice in then I'm pretty happy. It's something I can work out after the season is over.
Thanks
Ron

Re: New axiom heading my way, i got some questions.
Welcome aboard and grats on your purchase. I'm basically a noob as well, as I just got my first crossbow about a week ago. I researched everything I could and decided Excalibur was the only way to go. I was going to get a Vixen ll but finally settled on the new Matrix 310....perfect for an old geeze...

Welcome aboard.
I'm also new to crossbows but learning more every day.
This is a great place to be if you have questions about your new arrow launcher

Re: Matrix Brace Height
When i un boxed and assembled my new 380 the string was already digging into the bumpers. Is this normal? yes, the string will stretch during shipping and may need to have a few twists added to it to get it off the bumpers. Don't shoot it with the string resting on the bumpers or they will wear out...

noob needs a little help :p
There is a line etched in the top of my rail that is 5/8" back from where the rail meets the riser on my M 310. From that line to the end of my bumpers is another 1/4" I keep my string about 3/8" from my bumpers, so this is a distance of 5/8" from from the line in my rail. Does t...

Re: I have a confession to make
Ok.. I think I understand the brace height concept in regards to the bumpers etc but could someone please explain the how it affects the arrow POI? Again, just making sure I understand the why other then because you have to do it or else :-) The lower the brace height, the longer the power stroke t...

Impressive
A buddy stopped over yesterday to check out my crossbow as I was getting ready for work. Sent one arrow down range, and he was pretty impressed that at 30 yards it was dead center in the bullseye

I have a confession to make
I was target practicing with my brother inlaw and had to show him how easy it is to change a string. I noticed that it was getting close to the bumpers so I showed him how easy it is to add a couple twists.......
Took me about 6 shots to figure out why I was suddenly shooting high. lol
