Are Firebolts and Diablos the same shaft?
I have a few of each I wish to cut down to the same size providing there the same 10.5 GPI.
Can anyone tell me the insert and rear insert length so when I go to cut them I can get the longest shaft possible.

Axiom Modification
By cutting the rail down on my axiom I hope to put matrix limbs on for a more compact crossbow. I know a lot have done it with other metal railed bows but I haven't heard of any doing it with an axiom. Provided cutting the rail is fine, what about other components, trigger, riser etc with the extra ...

I had the same problem with my Axiom, right out of the box. I just learnt to put up with it.

Do you really need to spine test and weigh arrows for good..
I have started shooting at distances like 60 and 70 meters (66 and 77 yards) with my Axiom. I am using Gold tip 20" laser II with brass and 100 (am going to test with a 85GR point) grain tip with Mini Blazers. I shoot offhand and can get groups at these distances at around less than 12 inches (...

Re: Stringin Aid
One thing we have done is to shorten the string slightly and put more twists in the string and we are seeing less of this.[/quote] Why not continue this and experiment to find the best length/twist configuration, sure this wont make everything perfect but seing as this is about making sure that peop...

Re: Stringin Aid
Dont mean to offend anyone. But wouldnt it be in the companys best interest to just make the string even a 1/4 inch shorter. Yes a string will keep on stretching but this surely the easiest option?

Re: Any interest in an Excalibur 'Macro'
This is something I have wondered about as well. It would be very apealing to me and maybe other target shooters who dont care about size. Wider limbs and longer power stroke would mean even less stress on the crossbow. The closest thing we have is the good old exo series.

Re: Axiom with ADF without HHA bracket extension
Thanks I guess ill order a bracket extension.paulaboutform wrote:I have an HHA on my Exomax. Because I added the ADF I needed the extension bracket for the speed dial on the HHA to clear the ADF. I'm assuming that'll hold true for all the eExo series so the answer is yes, you need the extension bracket.

Axiom with ADF without HHA bracket extension
I know on the matrix series you have to have the HHA bracket extension but do you have to on an axiom?
