Re: Black bear hunting tips
No spring hunt in Maine, thanks to the antis, but the hide should be better in the spring, the went in the hole in prime shape for the winter and come out with a beautiful coat.as far as the meat goes,I don't hunt near towns or dumps so the meat is always the same.you are what you eat, grasses, beach nut...

Re: most accurate arrow & broadhead
I can see there are lots of options,at some point I will experiment and build my own but for now the Diablos and 150 gr.boltcutters have never let me down.no need to change . I shoot out to 50 yds and won't aim for the same spot.my 380 loves em,the deer hate em.

Re: Quiver on/off?
I hunt mostly from a tree stand.stock quiver is on only when walking to and from.i just hang it from a hook when hunting, and lay the bow across the rail.sometimes I get to use the rail to make the shot and the quiver would be in the way.might be trying the top mount in the future.whatever you decide...

Re: polishing trigger latches ?
Not sure of the grit but you could try a piece of crocus cloth.you should be able to get it at your local hardware store.i used it to finish polishing the flats on a hawkin muzzleloader kit.could get it like a mirror if you wanted.just a thought.

Re: Targets
You can't beat the bag of rags for field points.2 finger removal.i also use a morell crossbow bag target for field points around 45$. Holding up good . Hanging the bag will get you longer life out of the target. I also use the Reinhardt 18-1 for broadheads.stops em good from my 380, just gotta shoot...
