Re: CR 2032 battery drain in X bow scopes.

I have never had an issue with any bein drained Nor have I. When I used Hawke scopes, and still use the TR530IL on a B/U cbow, I found illumination virtually worthless as they were too bright in low light conditions. Only when I eventually used higher level scopes starting with WCE scopes, then L V...

Just like having shot lower poundage vertical bows would have been easier on many former vbow shooters, using a crank will likely be easier on our delicate backs.

Re: Shooting The Bulldog 440

Congratulations on you xbow selection! Contrast against the BD400? Can you see a difference in the limbs? If you ever get really bored, I think it would be interesting to swap limbs and chronograph the before and after differences. I understand that the new limbs are much faster.

Mark, give your boy a hug and a kiss and let him be his own man. It's important that a man knows that he is where he is because he put himself there! Nothing better than knowing that you are responsible for your own destiny. XB buddy. Your dad is way cool! I like him! :D I was about to respond sinc...

Re: High FOC, high momentum

I tested two equal weight arrows for Jerry. One had a 190 insert and a 26g nock. The other was reversed. The arrows weighed the same but one had a -5 foc and the other had appx 30. I shot the high foc arrow to 80 yards, the low foc only to 60 yards. Even at 60 yards, the center of the impacts were v...

Joe, you’re not old. Everyone should use a crank well before they have to. That way they won’t have to nearly as soon.

Re: Dr stirrup- stirrup

Actual weight - ? It is very light. It can serve as a vertical stand and as a bipod, off of a level platform. I have them on a M380, 405 and BD400. Being 72 and wanting to preserve my back, I use a Charger cocker. But, the Stirrup allows me to be able to rope cock for a second shot or recocking whil...

Re: High FOC, high momentum

The only shafts I use are Zombies/Spynal Tapps and occasionally 2219s. Inserts range from 92-110. The Excaliburs have been M380,405s and BD400. Shaft lengths 18-22 with 20s primarily used now in BD400, occasionally 22”. Broadheads, primarily Slick Tricks from 100-175, primarily 125g Grizz Tricks and...
