Re: Micro 315

Just bought the Excalibur Micro 315, I'm having problems with accuracy. 20 yards its great, 50 I'm all over, 40 I'm all over, 30 I'm all over. My hubby shot it as well same problem, he has the matrix 355, his shoots great! We both watched the video , twice. Still can't get this to shoot a group pas...

Re: Off-season Considerations For My Micro 335

If you are only using your Micro for hunting the factory is more than enough for your needs. Your only concern would be string stretch but that's not a big deal. Use a stringer, twist the string a bit and recheck your POI and make your scope adjustments if needed. I keep an extra Excal factory strin...

Re: Boofest 2016

Hello Everyone, I've entered my second year owning a crossbow and I'm enjoying my ownership. I've been a compound bow user for quite a few years now but I think this season I will concentrate on using my Micro during my hunts. I'm hoping my schedule will allow me to attend this years event as I live...

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??

That WAS a good deal. That MLS listing you mentioned is probably cheaper than half of the things I was looking at. The original listing price was listed at $99,999 but was listed after late Nov... I'm sure it'll sell in 2016 sometime. The neighbouring land is farm with cattle.... Everytime I drive ...

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??

[/guote] Bought a cabin on 215 acres of private land last year in WMU 62. Trail cam showed at least three mature bucks on my land. I let one spike walk in hopes for one of the big ones to show them selves. No choice but let two does pass. If I had a antlerless tag or just wanted to fill the freezer...

Re: Who Hunts in southern Ontario??

I'm just wondering who hunts deer in southern ontario and what their success rate is like? Thinking about scouting spots a little closer to home (toronto) Started out my hunting experiences on public land in WMU 72 for turkey and deer. It was a learning experience for me so no luck but almos...

Re: Crossbow vs.Compound Bow.

Mr.ROC I have had compound enthusiasts jump all over me over the use of crossbow. I don't hide the fact that I'm in favor of crossbows for both target and hunting and I do hunt with my crossbow. The main comment I hear all the time......"its not a bow" or....."that's not bow hunting&...

Re: Crossbow vs.Compound Bow.

:| Why do you choose a cross bow? I do because I'm a 130lbs noodle battling fibromyalgia and cannot stand there with a drawern bow. Why do you even care what others think? Has someone made a negative comment regarding you using a crossbow? Use and enjoy what makes you happy... Stand up to those tha...

Re: New micro 335, little disappointed so far

I hate to say it but your first mistake was to buy from Cabela's AND had it shipped without test firing it first. . Mr . RoC Are you suggesting that Excalibur brand crossbows such as the Micro 335 sold through Cabela's are made to a lower standard then to the ones sold elsewhere ??? ( ie: your ProS...

Re: Lets hear some good about micro

No problems with mine.

During deer season I left my Micro out side over night in -5*C. Woke up at 5am the next day and cold cocked the Micro covered in frost.... No issues with the limbs.

As mentioned above... get yourself a stringer to adjust the BH once in awhile when the string stretches.

Re: Matrix 380 or Micro?

Congrats.

Did you get yourself a stringer? Maybe pick one up when Sail has a 15% OFF sale on their hunting stuff or just use your LeBaron club card. You'll need to add twists to the string when it starts to stretch.

Re: New micro 335, little disappointed so far

I hate to say it but your first mistake was to buy from Cabela's AND had it shipped without test firing it first. Armchair/ over the internet "test drives" are useless. I bought from a local Pro shop and authorized Excal dealer and the Pro shop had it assembled and the scope levelled and t...

Re: 335 Limb Failure Q for all.

Resurrecting an old thread. I bought my Micro in Real Tree back in January 2015. Deer season is over for me this year and ended up taking my Micro on the hunts more so then my compound bow. To answer the OP's original question: Everything is bone stock out of the box and using the Quills with the li...
