Re: Cocking a 310
My grizzly is very easy to cock. I think it specs the same 200 lb draw weight as the 310. I feel for you buddy. I had to give up my precious verticle bows because of my back, but after owning this Excalibur grizzly, I am tickled to death at its accuracy, and user friendliness. Good luck to you.

Re: Bad business
That's the American way isn't it? Rip off a customer, then leave it in the hands of the manufacturer, who probably did not have anything to do with the missing parts. I would be p'd off too.

Re: Quills for Grizzly.
I actually can hit a 3 inch circle every time at 50 off my knees. The area that I hunt, 30 yards is a long shot before the leaves fall. I am quite happy with my setup, and I won't change until bow season ends, then I will use the quills, but those Big Johns are calling to me. Thanks guys.

Re: Quills for Grizzly.
Thanks guys, but after seeing the package of Big Johns custom arrows in another post, I would love to have some of those. I can't get my foot in the stirrup xcal. I have the quills now, but it is too close to hunting season for me to go messing with what I have shooting excellent right now. I am sho...

Re: Nice looking package
Not being nosey, but what did the whole bunch set you back? I appreciate beautiful arrows, and those are the nicest set that I have ever laid eyes on.

Quills for Grizzly.
Would there be any downfall to using the Excalibur Quills in my Grizzly? I noticed that my Diablos go to the stirrup, plus, I have a friend that offered 1 doz. quills to me for free. I was going to buy BE zombies when my 8 diablos were gone, but free arrows are hard to turn down. I gave him 4 free b...

Re: removing the adf on a micro
I agree wholeheartedly agedcrossbowuser. Look at the fuel cans that we have today. All because some cannot do for themselves. Lever action rifles with cross bolt safeties. There are lots of instances where products were made worse because some people forgot to be safe when using said product. I do a...

Re: excal grizzly
Hi Ohio, buy your son the Grizzly. I have had mine since January, and I was kind of skeptical about the smf rail, but I did not want to sink 800 bucks into my first xbow. Turns out not to matter, that smf is as tough as a tank. My bow chronos 306-307 with Diablos and 125 grain heads for a total weig...

Re: Crossbow Noise
Thanks guys. The noise does not bother me that much. I honestly think that my grizzly is nearly as quiet as my Parker vertical bow, and I don't have any wrap on the stirrup, and no whiskers. I kind of think that some go overboard with the noise issue. When my wife shoots the bow, I can only hear a s...

Crossbow Noise
I have owned my Grizzly for over 6 months now, and have shot it an enormous amount of times, and it has been a great xbow. My bow is not what I would say very loud. Is it worth the trouble to wrap the stirrup, put whiskers on the string, and all of the extra stuff that people do to quiet their xbows...

Re: New Grizzly question about arrow weight
As of now I shoot 125 grain points in my grizzly, and it seems to like the 375 grain arrow pretty well. I would try 100s, 125s, and 150s and see which shoots best for you and your bow. I like the broadhead selection at 100 and 125 better, but if someone made a 150 grain mechanical, I would be equall...

I noticed many years ago that deer looked up a lot when I used ladder stands. I don't seem to get their attention as much out of hang on stands. Also, here in VA the deer seem to be a lot spookier where atv use is high. I hunt both public and private lands, and the deer on public lands seem to be mo...

Re: Grizzly VS Matrix 310
Either choice will be good. As far as holding value, I have been burned by buying used from too many people on too many occasions. Every time I buy used, it seems that I end up with someone else's junk/problems. I usually don't get rid of something that works well period. I picked the grizzly becaus...

Re: Brace Height help for new Excalibur owner
I also have a Grizzly, and everything that Justanuff has posted is exactly the same as I have found throughout my testing. It seems not to matter, the Grizzly/Cub series are both extremely accurate xbows. I cannot aim at the same target spot, even at 50 yards, because I end up ruining the nocks on t...
