This is disturBING news. Just curious, when a replacement is sent. Will you receive a matching pair of limbs or just the broken one?

Keith that is a nice gesture thanks. Thanks to all who commented with ideas to help. Just so I'm clear. I don't care about the dark lines on the rail, I can clean the rail. It's that dang line they cut into the rail that's causing the problem. I hope they change that idea for future Excalibur owners...

I have the nightmare. Tony said he has the same darkening on the rail but his brace height line isn't sharp.

Excaliber that gummy stuff is probably the lube your using.

Tony and I received those strings two weeks ago. We got them from Keith I love the string he did a great job. The serving is tight. There is maybe 25 shots on that string. It should not see that kind of ware. I have to do something with that groove or I'm going to zip through strings quick.

Okay in these pictures you can see I turned the string 180° so it was on top and you can plainly see that it is wearing perfectly where the line goes across the rail. You can also see the material laying in the brace height groove. The walls on that groove are super sharp.

Just a heads up on an observation I made on my micro. On the rail 1/2" before and 1/2" after the brace hight line, there is a blackish mark. A closer look at the brace hight line has serving material in it. When I turned the string 180 degrees. You can plainly see the ware on the serving. ...
