I just used a bolt through the riser....and a tripod adapter
But the gopro only works for very close distances
I am thinking of trying the tac rail and mounting the camera under the rail??

Re: Crossbow scopes
I may be the odd man out here....but I Like the Tact-Zone that came on my bows!..They really do work good...I shoot out to 115 yards with mine. It even has illumination in 2 co lors ! Tonight I was shooting right up until darkness...and the light gathering ability of the little scope was VERY obviou...

Re: What other option than Lumenok?
I have been using Ignitor Nocks for over a year now.... I really like how easy they are to mount, remove, and use. You can just replaced parts as needed. I have recovered lots of arrows because of the Ignitors shining bright on my return at dusk. The Green are bright enough and stay on for days! Som...

Re: crazy compact crossbow
The bow is kinda cute and slender!! ...And I enjoy speed and compactness as much as the next guy. But I think this bow is lacking the "essence" that a crossbow provides for me. Don't you all think that there is just too much of the bow missing??  I like the romance and nostal...

My Friend Got Chewed by a Grizzly!
My friend Todd got tore up pretty bad the other day. This man is more of an outdoorsman than anyone I have ever known. If "this" can happen to him.... Then brace yourself, cause you're in trouble and possibly overdue!.. He is a major handgun hunter....and one of the most ...

Re: Thoughts on wrapping the stirrup in paracord?+checkingSc
I actually get a better grip on it with the paracord but I can see your concerns. I make sure my big ol clodhopper is well into the stirrup and make a note to pull straight up and have had absolutely no problems. The only concern that I have had with it, and I feel that it is real, is scent so I tr...

Re: Slick Trick Rip Trick Review and Field Test
Thank you everyone!!!! I really enjoyed doing this test. Last night I put my big green varmint hunting light on my bow and my gopro camera and went out at about 10pm. I introduced the ST Rip Trick to a broadside skunk. Guessed him at 25-30 yards and leveled the crosshairs. At the shot the Ignitor ju...

Re: Thoughts on wrapping the stirrup in paracord?+checkingSc
You know I like the idea of a quiet(er) bow. But not at the risk of safety and function. When I haul back on my rope cocker, I do it with quite a bit of authority!! So I want the stirrup to really "dig-in" to my boot, the ground and rocks etc. Sharp metal edges accomplish this nicely. Seem...

Re: What is your favorite Xcal target block?
I have an old delta speed bag. It is just filled with old rags. It works very well at stopping arrows from the 380. I have shot a several targets and can say that the rag bags are hard to beat. Arrows just side out with no effort and I bought a bunch of Morrel target faces to match any quarry. http:...

Slick Trick Rip Trick Review and Field Test
I live in Montana and like to shoot at Everything!. I have no tree stands or blinds. So I travel lots of miles with my bow in search of things to shoot. And to add to the challenge,...as if crossbow hunting wasn't challenging enough, my state classifies my bow as a rifle  I like my roving poin...

Re: The New Rip Trick?
Well 233 views...so obviously there must be some interest!... but not a single reply from anyone that has used one. My goal was to find a roving head that would exactly match my hunting arrows so I can shoot stumps, grouse, predators and anything else.... So I bought some and they are great!...I wil...

Re: Tact Zone scope magnification question
I actually have great success using the zoom/speed dial to my advantage for long range shooting. Once my bow is sighted in perfect at 20 yards on its' fastest setting, I then move back from the target in 10 yard increments all the way to 60 yards to establish the "constant" setting for my ...
