Re: Inside Dia. of easton 2216 shafts?

I may try the standard alum inserts with 150gn. "BAT" style Bolt Cutters then as I have a few new ones on hand. Thanks guys for all of the great ideas.

Inside Dia. of easton 2216 shafts?

I was given almost 2 dozen like new, almost full length, camo 2216 XX75's last night. .. My plan is to cut them down to 16 1/2" OA length for the Micro 355 I recently acquired.. I'm not sure of the bare shaft grains per inch or inside dia for both brass inserts ( 92 or heavier if needed...

Re: Dead zone Octane

After getting it dialed in at 20 yards put the elevation cap back on your scope.....that parts done. Moving to 40 yards, set your speed ring in the area stated above... this will get you close. Then using the 40 hard crosshair ( second below the main 20 yd one ) Shoot, preferably at a measure...

Re: Is modern hunting actually easier?

I think lack of access to property that historically actually contained game that was open to all is a factor also. Where I hunt here in Wa. State, what used to be massive amounts of privately owned timber land which in many cases amounted to thousands of square miles which was generally accessable ...

Re: Duel moose call

Easy / Peasy   using the cow/calf model as you simply apply slight tooth pressure on the rubber tube piece surrounding the reed...... I'm especially happy with the ability to raise and lower the volumn by simply increasing or decreasing my air pressure while blowing... The sounds they al...

Re: Duel moose call

I know absolutely nothing about their moose call. However, having just bought and hunted with their "Dual" Cow and Calf Elk call this past Early Season, I would easily endorse it as the very best Cow call I have ever heard or personally used.

Re: Twilight Scope

This is bound to upset some I'm sure  but personally I don't take those " last minute of legal light " shots... I do like an illuminated scope at the "Break of Dawn" and for this reason both of my Micros are set up with Hawke XB30 SR Pros. However, I personally I will not s...

Danny Miller Comes Thru again !

Less than a week ago.... last Friday to be percise, I shipped Danny Miller off a rail that I had stripped one of the stock screw holes in.  Here it is on Wednesday less than a week later and he has repaired not only that hole, but addressed the second one "Just In Case". :)...
