Re: News Flash-Bada Bing Suffers Gruesome Injury

I could probably live with just hearing the cracking sound  It's just when the limb tip tries taking my head off that I would worry about. :P I hope all of this works out for you and I'm sure Danny can get it right. It's just a design and or stress issue I'm thinking about ? I too will...

Re: News Flash-Bada Bing Suffers Gruesome Injury

I wonder if since the 405 and the micro both require the most draw weight of any X-cal, that these heavier bows may be showing the increased stress being placed on their limbs ? I know I've read several posts refering to 405's with limb issues and it was usully the left side. Does anyone else see a ...

Re: 335 vs 380 vs 405 limb and engineering stresses

I'm curious as to why you left out the best Matrix of all  That would be the 355 :P Plenty of speed, great trajectory, not as much stress on the limbs and not hard to pull for the performance given. Just my $ .02 , of course I'm new to X-bows but I'm sure happy with the 355 I got in tra...

Re: Matrix 330

Ron, I'm happy to hear your pleased with it... I know I'm very satsfied on my end with the new 355. :D This trade went very smoothly and and only 3 days in the mail. Now, I just need to find a target that will stop the 16" 418 gn 2219's at 20 and 30 yards, ( practice arrows until my new ones ar...

Re: Excal Speed vs; arrow weight?

Thank's all, my plans are to put a Nikon Bolt on a M-355 real soon and I'm trying to see ahead of chrono. time what distance I may expect the bow to be " on " at the preset referance points in the scope, as I don't think the " Bolt" has a speed ring .... but does use a "Spot...

Re: Alberta Crossbow Permit APPROVED!

Congratulations, I recenty went thru a very similar process to be able to do the same thing here in Washington State.... I had to deal with the ADA section of the State fish and game department... I had to have my DR whom happens to be a VA Dr, certify following strength, mobility, and dexteritary t...

Excal Speed vs; arrow weight?

Is there some correlation or chart I can use to calculate or look up speed and "Drop rates" I may expect with a Matrix-355 using arrows above 350fps ? For instance, 375 grns., 400, 415 and 425 ? These are weights I''m looking at hitting while putting arrows together for the 355 I have on t...

Re: "Cabelas" brand 3 power-350 fps scope ?

I agree with the quality of the "Bolt" as all here seem to rate in very highly when discussing scopes. While I was there [at cabelas] I had them check on how many "points" I have acquired [ each is worth a dollar ]] ..... I found that with those points plus my veteran's discount ...

"Cabelas" brand 3 power-350 fps scope ?

I saw one of these for sale at Cabelas in Tulatin Ore. today for $99.00 lt looks pretty nice and somewhat similar to the Nikon Bolt but is calibrated for bows shooting in the 350 fps range and has no "speed ring"... The box does say "Made in China" and that it can be used by bows...

I made a great trade check it out !

Yesterday I and a well known guy around here shook hands thru the internet...He found his brand new Matrix 355 a biit above what he could comfortably pull. :D The result is he gets my 1 month old M-330 and I get his new M-355 .... Both of us will be keeping our origional scopes to help even up the t...

Want a quieter bow? This may help

I'm new here and this option to a quieter bow may have been previously suggested ??? But just in case it hasn't ? here it is.. As a old trad bow hunter with over 50 years in the woods, I feel "a quiet bow" is paramount due to the slower speed of the arrow and the response of ...
