Re: Ground Blinds

Thanks, my platform up 20ft off the ground between 3 trees, getting in & out may be a bit dicey:) The Big Cat 350 looks to be a better fit at 70" square

Re: Ground Blinds

Their website shows a square inner measurement of 59 x 59 but the max widths appear to be much wider due to the design, but no actual numbers given for those total measurements.

edit- Looking closer I see they show footprint dimensions of 91", maybe that is overall width

Re: Ground Blinds

Does anyone use the bigger blinds like the Barronnette Blinds? I am able to leave my blinds up all season & have an 8ft x 8ft base, the Pentagon blind looks interesting but I'm worried it wont fit my base.

Re: BD380-Limb upgrade to BD400. Possible?

I thought I could upgrade by just swapping limbs. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I see there is a number under the mounting portion of the limb, do limbs need to be swapped in sets to keep things equal?

Re: BD380-Limb upgrade to BD400. Possible?

I believe the Matrix limbs are different, or are the BD limbs just more swept back. I thought that maybe the BD400 limbs were just a bit stiffer than the BD380 giving it the extra speed.

BD380-Limb upgrade to BD400. Possible?

I found a splinter on the left limb of my BD380, I contacted Excalibur & I'm sure warranty won't be a problem. If I wanted to bypass the warranty does anyone if a set of BD400 limbs could be installed in it's place? Thanks

Re: Arrows for Bulldog 380

For my Bulldog 380 I'm shooting 19.5" Zombies with SK-300 vanes & 92g front inserts. I use these with 125g broadheads. The extra length was needed due to clearance issues with the 125g.- 1-1/2 Ramcats. If I remember correctly total weight was 414g. Accuracy has been good tho I haven't shot ...

Re: Micro 335 or Bulldog 380

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy my BD380 is to cock. I went from an Axiom & the difference was not near as bad as I was expecting.

Re: Unequal limbs when cocked. Normal?

Thanks, I will measure the tiller tonite. I am happy with this bow, it feels good in the hands and seems to vibrate less than the Axiom did. I was also impressed in the difference of speed, went through my white excalibur target and buried arrow into the fence. I'm thinking of some Zombies with 92 g...

Re: Unequal limbs when cocked. Normal?

Thanks, my concern was more along the lines that one limb was weaker than the other and that is why it was pulled closer to the rail when cocked, or would that even be a sign of a weal limb? At the moment just shooting stock Diablo & field points, will be ordering new arrows once I spend a ton m...

Re: Unequal limbs when cocked. Normal?

How is tiller related to my limb measurement? not sure I'm understanding.

My grouping at 20 yards-prone with bipod was about 2", with my Axiom I was getting almost same hole accuracy, but if I remember right my bow needed a few dozen shots through it to get to that point.

Unequal limbs when cocked. Normal?

I was shooting my BD380 last night and the left side limb seemed to be closer to the rail than the right side. After shooting a dozen or so shots I went inside and measured from center of the rail to the limb tips & the left side is 3/8" closer when cocked. There is no sign of splintering, ...

Help With Ordering Custom Arrows

I'm looking into ordering some custom Zombies from SSAS, I want to shoot 20" arrows instead of the Diablos out of my BD380 ( the Diablos sit real deep in the riser not allowing the use of some of the bigger fixed blades). When it comes to ordering from the dropdown cart there are many vane setb...
