Dumb question
How do you all put info at the bottom of your posts like the bow and bolts you have? Didn't see the way to do it in the FAQ section.

Re: Offhand shooting
I got it practice, practice. Got my 355 today and shot it at my local archery shop. Dayum,is this thing accurate at 20 and 30 yards! Same whole at both distances. I am not a particularly good shot btw. Has to be the bow. Everybody in the shop was stunned, including me. Also, took awhile to find the ri...

Offhand shooting
How accurate are shooting offhand (no rest) at 20,30,and 40 yards? I was thinking about doing some spot-n-stalk hunting. Just wandering how well you group your arrows. thanks

Re: I'm looking for a heavier bolt
Thanks again for all the suggestions! For now, i guess i will just use the Diablo arrows with a 150 grain Slick Tricks. That will work for Whitetails. Does FOC weight needs to be in the 14-20% range? What spine is best for the 355? I"ll start experimenting with some of the different bolts/broad...

I'm looking for a heavier bolt
I'm looking to end up with a bolt weighing no less than 440 total grains. Plan on using 100-150grn Slick Trick bhs. Doesn't look like my Diablo bolts will weigh much over 400 grains. Who makes the heavier bolts? Black Eagle,Carbon Express,Easton? thanks

String suppressor ?
What works better Excalibur's REDS suppressor system or the 25$ ones you can get at Horizontal archery? I want to use one or the other to eliminate a little vibration and protect my limbs if i would ever dry-fire my xbow. thanks

Re: You made me do it!
Gotcha. Would some limb dampening or using heavier arrows prolong the life of the bow?Riflemanz wrote:Don't worry about noise because the deer won't care!
The 355 will zip an arrow thru him before he knows he's been hit!

You made me do it!
This is really a great forum with some well informed Excalibur owners. Glad to be apart of it. You all made buying a new xb easier. I bought my first xb today, the Matrix 355. After shooting the 405 and 330, i ordered the 355. Guess, i wanted something in between the two as far as speed and draw wei...
