Re: Matrix 330 vs 355

I currently have both, started with the 330 (last year), and thought I needed more speed so bought a 355. As a matter of fact they are both wearing your strings. Honestly the 330 shoots just as good as the 355 just with less speed, both are awesome, myself at almost 50 yrs old can feel the extra dra...

Leupold Crossbones or Hawkw XB30

I'm sure that this has been covered before, but looking for opinions on putting either a Leupold crossbones scope or Hawke XB30 on a Matrix 355. Worried about seeing hash marks on the crossbone in lowlight. Any suggestions or opinions appreciated. Thanks.

ReadyShot

Just a quick shout out to the great customer service from Bob Watkins of ReadyShot. After dropping my readyshot out of the tree this morning and breaking it, Bob is sending me the replacement part no questions asked. Thanks again Bob.

S5 string stops

Need some advice from the experts. How far from the string to the S5 stops, I have seen everything from just touching, to a credit cards width. This is on a 2014 Equinox. Thanks,
Al

Equinox

Question for all the guru's. I am the proud owner of a Matrix 330 and love it, been thinking about buying a back up, just for the heck of it. Would a 2014 Equinox be a good purchase or should I stick with the Matrix series of crossbows. New to the crossbow scene, just looking for opinions from those...

Re: Accuracy issues?

Update on my scope issue. Went out today and shot at 50 yrds, shooting high so I adjusted speed ring up until I was hitting bullseye. Shot at 40, dead on, shot at 30 still good to go. So I guess I have that dilemma solved for now. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions/advice. Yes I did order arro...

Re: Accuracy issues?

Yes sir, I have followed the directions to the tee, also did everything the Hawke tech told me to do, like I said this is my second scope with same issues. What am I missing, use turrets to sight in dead on at 20, use speed ring to sight in at 30, 40 or wherever. I think I am about rady to put the v...

Re: Accuracy issues?

Okay, while waiting to get my arrows from Jerry I went ahead and indexed my GT arrows. One is absolutely junk, will not group any where close with the others. The rest of them are grouping pretty good. Now back to my scope issue, dead on at 20, dead on at 30, top of bullseye at 40, about 3" hig...

Re: Accuracy issues?

Called Jerry this morning, he's going to fix me up with some of his arrows. After talking with him, he seems to think the GT's are the problem (spine to weak and not indexed), like everyone here suggested. Anyway we will see, thanks to everyone for responding to my post. Al

Re: Accuracy issues?

Yes sir, shooting off of solid bench. I'm starting to really think that it may be the Gold Tips. I will continue to work with them at least until I can get some custom made arrows. Any suggestions on a custom arrow builder who isn't booked up with orders I know hunting season is just around the corn...

Re: Accuracy issues?

Hey 8ptbuck, I won't give up, it just gets frustrating. I am starting to wonder about the Gold Tips, I contacted BigJohn about some arrows, but he is booked until Nov and season starts here in WV in a few weeks. Thanks

Re: Accuracy issues?

Thanks everybody for the tips. I do the number thing on the vanes, quess I need to go back and start over. It just seems like there is no consistancy in my groups, maybe it is me, I will keep at it, maybe I am expecting to much. Thanks again.
