Finally got some free time. Popped the cherry on my 405
Wow! I haven't been here in forever! After life taking full control and hours of OT at work (avg 30hrs per 2 weeks :() I finally have some free time for myself. First thing I did was tune my 405 and get ready for the early bow season for mule deer. On August 31, we arrived at our buddy's cabin. Afte...

Re: Spare Limbs
Just got my hands on some spare limbs that had blemishes on them. At first I though the camo was going to be really bad since this limb did not pass the qc test. But when I got the limbs, I really had too look hard to find where the blemishes are. In my case, there were some tiny bubbles(?) in the p...

Need extra m405 limbs
Does anyone know where I can find extra limbs for my m405? and for how much? I've tried most of my archery shops here in Vancouver and they all say we can try. PS: No I did not break the limbs. I just want insurance since hunting season is almost here and if it does break, then I have an extra set w...

Zeroing twilight dxl tips
Hey guy! Hunting season is fast approaching and I haven't even zeroed my crossbow yet! So I bought a chrony and found out that my average fps with 401gr be zombies is around 380. My question is, should I follow the 380 fps on the scope when using the chevrons port do I have to tinker with it to find...

Re: Broadhead for Moose
Thanks all! Looks like I'll be sticking with fixed for moose.
Paul how confident are you that the toxic would do enough damage to cleanly kill a moose?

Broadhead for Moose
Hey guys, I'm in need of some advise again! I got lucky with my LEH and I drew a bull moose hunt! Now I really want to use my m405 for this moose but I wasn't anticipating that I'll get to draw a moose hunt since it's my first time hunting. I have 3 broad heads right now on my arsenal. they are: 125...

M405 speed?
Hey all,
Is there a rough way to calculate the speed of a stock m405?
I'm shooting a BEZS with a total weight of 414.8 grains. Or better yet, can anyone recommend a good affordable chrony?
Cheers,
Gil

Thanks for that good review Nog. I have to admit, I'm leaning more towards the Bushnell now.

What's a good rangefinder?
I am in need of some advise again. I'm looking at range finders and there's so many to choose from! I'm gonna be using this for hunting with a crossbow and a rifle. So do I need a rangefinder with "bow" mode and or angle compensation? I'm leaning towards the Vortex Ranger 1000 and the Bush...
