String Serving question
I want to serve my xbow strings and saw the video on how, but what do you all use to hold the string tight. I don't want to invest in a bunch of $ for a bow string jig. I don't plan on making my own strings but want to re-serve strings where the serving is worn . thanks

Re: HAA Optimizer
thanks for the response. I put it on the Tenpoint turbo xlt and with the Black Eagle executioners it at about 337 fps., so its not all that fast. the Grizzly avg. about 290, with the diablos. I may try it on both and see.

HAA Optimizer
Recently got one and just getting around to setting it up on my TenPoint Turbo II. I have a Grizzly but thought the Optimizer would be better served on a faster Xbow. Sighted it in at 20 but it's been too windy here in Phoenix for the 60 yard sight in. I will update when I finish. The only problem I...

Re: Matrix Grizzly help...
I found the Excalibur cheek piece virtually useless as it does not have the height necessary to align your eye with the scope if you truly lay your cheek on the stock. Most shooters I've seen compensate by slightly lifting their cheek off the stock. They've done it so long they don't even realize it...

Nikon Bolt in Mossy Oak Camo
Used the Mossy Oak scope skin on my Nikon Bolt for my Excalibur Grizzly. Also made a decent cheek piece for the stock. Now I can lay my cheek on the stock and I'm aligned perfectly with my scope. The Excalibur cheek piece was inadequate for me, and why Excalibur doesn't make the stock with a higher ...

Re: Firenocks "J" nock question
Cossack when you say "won't work" what specifically happens? right now it makes a snap as it goes on the string, just like when I place an arrow on my vertical compound bow.

Firenocks "J" nock question
Does anyone use Firenock's "J" nock with their Xbow? I had some custom Executioner bolts made at South Shore Archery and had the J nock installed to use on another bow. The nock seem to fit on the serving correctly, and no rise on the shaft when it attaches to the serving.

HHA Optimizer review ?
I've been reading about the HHA Xbow Optimizer. after viewing the video on their web site the sight looks pretty impressive. Does anyone have any experience with one on their xbow? I'd like to get your input before a purchase. I shoot a Grizzly and a Ten Point Turbo II. Thanks
