Re: Trigger creep.
I've worked on triggers in rifles and handguns is there any difference with the Excalibur crossbow trigger. My Grizzly is also like a two stage trigger I would like to work on it after the season.

Re: excal grizzly
Bought my Grizzly July 6. I've put a lot of arrows thru it sighted in from 20 to 50 yards with a Nikon Bolt scope. I'm using stock Diablo's right now got an extra 6 pack with bow. Shooting 125 grain field points and Spitfire 125 grain broadheads. Mine has been dry fired once and no damage was done.

What do I need to do to shoot Omni nocks in Grizzly
I have 9 new Easton Bloodline arrows with Omni nocks for Tenpoint crossbows. I'd like to use them in my Grizzly so should I remove the Omni nocks. Can the small points on them be filed flat with a belt sander and used in the Grizzly. If I replace the nocks being new to Excalibur where do I find the ...

Re: New to the forum , need some advice on new bow purchase.
I bought my first Excalibur in early July also moving up from a Barnett. Mine is the Grizzly and it's an outstanding choice plenty fast and accurate and compact enough for my hunting style. Welcome to the forum MarshflyUSA.

Re: Best scope for Grizzly
When I bought my Grizzly back in early July it came with a SMF scope. Not the scope it was advertised to come with . I emailed Excalibur about getting one of the two scopes that were to come on it. Basically they replied that the SMF was a good scope and bye. I can shoot good groups with it but it'...

Re: grizzly barce hight
I don't know if it's just my Grizzly or all of them but there is no line on mine. My brace height is 1.5in last time I measured and I got it in early July. It shoots great although I'm hoping for even better groups when I replace the SMF scope that came on it with the Nikon Bolt scope I just bought.

Re: Best scope for Grizzly
I bought a new scope today at a local archery dealer who carries Tenpoint crossbows. The best scope he had I thought was the Nikon Bolt so I bought it. I have not put it on the Grizzly yet. I have a Nikon on my .223 bolt action rifle and like it so it made sense to go with one on my new crossbow. Ma...

Re: Sizing up a bear
That's a tough law trying to guess the weight of a bear in hunting conditions. Back in the 1970's and early 80's PA had a law similar to that. They finally dropped it as they determined it was unfair. It has not hurt the bear population as we have more bear than ever. I get the same results in the A...

Re: Best scope for Grizzly
I have a Leupold VX-2 1-4x20 on my Phoenix. Sight in @ 25 yards and the crosshair is good for any deer from 1-30 yards. I can also use the duplex "posts" (thick/thin junction) for 15 & 35 yards with the power set at 2X. Where I hunt most shots are well under 30 yards. All my hunting s...

Re: A guy who hunts next to us had 2 stands and 2 cameras st
I had a new camera stolen 2 seasons ago now I put a chain and lock on them. Many years ago when I was in my early 40's I had 2 hanging stands taken. They were 15 feet up in trees and no steps in the tree either. I use a ladder stand today and that gets a chain and lock on it to.
