I can build my own bolts thats not a problem. Im just curious how much weight i need up front and how far i need to fletch my bolts from the back of the shaft for long range accuracy.

I shoot the 100grain slick tricks out of my equinox but im using the stock firebolts... they shoot good i just have to adjust my scope to my broadheads and they are good to go...

Goodmorning everyone I'm looking for some feedback on everyone's arrow and broadhead combination. Im shooting the stock firebolts with 100 gr slick tricks. They work well but they dont shoot the same as my field points to be able to hit the mark with my broadheads my field tips hit 3 or 4 in high. S...

Ok guys i fixedthe arrow retention spring to have more pressure on the arrow to where it dosent move freely ... so now maybe i want have any missfires I hope thanks for all the help

Thanks for all the help guys and no i didnt use a cronograph i just went by the numbers on the scope and i will add some more pressure to my retention spring to prevent any missfires.... this ia qhy i live this forum so much you can get quality answers in a timely fashion

Yes you are correct paul would the arrow retention spring not holding the bolt firmly in place make me have such a drastic change in my speed on my scope ... and how will the retention spring cause a partial or full dry fire.

So basically your saying that if i loose a couple fps through my bow that on my scope it could show more than a couple fps. And thankyou for telling me the proper name of the arrow holder lol....
