Re: My broadhead tipped bolts are all over the place

[quote="cajuntec"]Graham, No problem. Thank you for the continued help. I've never really been a fan of Easton arrows, and I wish I had my reading glasses on to see the Easton logo in the lower right hand corner of the shaft label before I purchased a half-dozen more with the bow package. ...

Re: My broadhead tipped bolts are all over the place

I'm shooting an Excalibur Axiom SMF, and using the Excalibur Firebolt bolts. It was recommended to me that I use a 150 grain head when I bought it. As 150's are difficult to find around here, I started looking around. I had some 125 grain Razorcaps that have the interchangeable ferrules, so I bough...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

Just for the heck prior to switching back strings, try sighting in at 30yds with the crosshair. May still be close if not on at 20yds? See where she is on the longer yards. Good luck... I just switched back to the old string and yeah I'm still on target! So I have to assume that the faster string i...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

When you said you were missing your target completely I thought you meant your arrow was going completely over the top of everything ! Lol . If your just 3/4 inches high , Then yeah . probably just shooting faster . Sorry lol my target has five bullseyes on it I'm aiming at the top bullseye lol so ...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

If you're dead on at 20y and off at longer ranges that doesn't point to a faulty scope IMO, it points to the speed you picked up going from the Excel string to a fast flight material. The EXOs picked up speed when going from endless loop to Flemish because the endless strings were made of a slower,...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

What name is on yer scope? No fps ring but has xhair wid chevrons in it ? So what do yer arrows weigh? The optional Flemish string Fast Flite is what they get the 305 fps. A light arrow weight n Flemish string is where the speed comes from The scope has nothing on it except for the excalibur logo o...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

I have never had a Flemish string increase my speed, and if I lose speed it 4 to 6 fps, I can put a string on my Micro or my Matrix from 3 different makers, and the factory endless loop with no change out to 30 and not enough to worry about at 40 yards. I have to think something else is causing you...

Re: flemish string scope issues?????????

What scope do you have? If it is an excalibur scope just give the speed ring a little twist until it matches your arrow speed. If it is sighted in good at 20, then shoot a few shots at 40 yards and keep adjusting it until is is dead on, then move out a little farther for fine tuning. The scope is a...

Scope is tight! No problems there! I just think because the flemish string is faster the bow shoots higher. I'm a newbie at this so I'm not sure?

flemish string scope issues?????????

Okay I just bought and installed a flemish string on my axiom. At twenty yards my scope is dead nuts! When I moved to thirty I was shooting a little high and then at 40 I'm missing my target completely. Now I think because the bow is a little faster that's why the thirty and forty yard reticles are ...
