Sounds like a great hunt to me. I have a feeder sling'in corn out in the mornings and the evenings. If I would have known that and Excalibur works better I would just hang one from my stand. Lesson learned

I hunt in the rain quite a bit with no precautions taken. And while sitting in the rain my lens caps are open to prevent fogging. When I get back home I dry off my matrix and it's good to go. Wash, rinse, repeat
