Re: Cabelas Equalizer

I just bought a 350se on eBay for $569.99 delivered.
No REDS or ADF. Has the Micro style stock. My father’s 350le purchased spring of ‘17 was just a cut down 405.
I bought the 350 because I was tired of my Micros breaking down. Best deal goIng on an Excalibur!

Re: Muzzy phantoms

Thanks for the feedback! I’m shooting spine matched BEE’s from SouthShore, so they should fly good. I used them the last year that I hunted with a verticle bow, and they gave the best blood trail I’ve ever had. Going on a hunt for big whitetail in Nebraska week after next and I’m just not confident ...

Muzzy phantoms

Anyone running Muzzy Phantom (old style, not SC’s) in their Excalibur?

Re: First Excalibur for my 10 year old

I gave my son a Matrix Grizzly when he was 12. He harvested his first buck within 24 hours of shooting it for the first time. The synthetic main frame makes the weight manageable for a younger shooter, and balance of the bow when cocked is good. I have two BNIB available currently for $549.99 TYD in...

Re: Why did you choose Excalibur?

Simplicity and warranty primarily. Was so impressed with my first Excalibur I became a dealer.

Re: Recommendation for beginner

If your primary quarry will be deer from a stand, it's hard to argue with he merits of the Excalibur Matrix Grizzly. More than ample performance at a very reasonable price. If you can afford a little more, the Micro 335 is an awesome bow. Those are the two that I recommend the most to my customers.

Re: R.E.D.S. suppressor question

DO NOT shoot the bow if the string is touching the REDS! You need to keep a 1/4" to 1/2" spacing between the string and the REDS. I've had two customers in the last week who broke limbs due to shooting while the string was against the REDS.

Re: Tested some Excals today

In several tests between my Micro 355 and Micro 335, I'm finding an average velocity gain of five fps with the 355. Not sure it's worth the extra $$$ just to get the TactZone scope. My Dad is shooting the 350LE. I'm quite impressed with it. In chrono tests, it's getting 24 fps more than my Micro 355...

Get ahold of me next year. I'm in process of getting set up to offer custom bolts.

Micro 355 a bit disappointing

Finally got around to putting my new Micro 355 through the chrono. I'm shooting an 18" 475 gr. B.E.E. Pretty heavy, so no surprise that it was kinda slow, but the disappointment really set in after comparing to my Micro 335. Only five (5) FPS average difference in velocity shooting the same arr...

EZ Fletch Bolt set-back??

Want to start fletching my own bolts, want to use the EZ Fletch Bolt for simplicity, but want to have a 1 1/8" vane set back?

Can anyone tell me what set-back distance is with the Bolt?

Re: Stock string vs custom flemish???

I like Flemish because of the ability to customize the string color to my bow/set-up, and they are just plain quieter than factory. The tag ends of the Flemish strings also fray out over time adding a "cat whisker" like addition for further sound/vibration suppression. Haven't noticed any ...

Re: Do you guys wear Camo?

Camo clothing? Yes! Pattern depends on time of year and terrain. But most important is disguising your scent. I've stood within 10 yards of deer wearing jeans and flannel shirt, with the wind in my favor, and they looked right at me and continued to feed. Fool their nose and fooling the rest of thei...
