Re: how do you spin test arrows

Everybody has one... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/dairyking24/IMG_1120.jpg Or alternatively...... A two foot 2 x 4 with finishing nails forming an X hammered into it at both ends. I use this one all the time. Now that's a great idea! I'm actually going home to do that now. I would do the ma...

Re: Dead Ringer Kill Switch?

I prefer body shots to head shots on turkey anyway. I too prefer body shots over head shots. Although I've never used or had experience with a broadhead designed as a decapitator, I just don't personally trust them. Back in 2002 I killed a big gobbler with my vertical bow while using a Wasp broadhe...

Re: Competitions at Boofest

If you want an idea for 100yrd shoot: At Compton Traditional Shoot they have a 100 yard money bear and it makes lots of money. They have a polar bear (standing) cut out of white foam and backed by hay bales on the target there are about 100 bills all taped on - a lot of one dollar (US) bills and th...

Re: Excellent chair for turkey hunting

I liked the chair and sat in it at Cabela's. It was very comfortable but I didn't like how it was slightly reclined. Comfortable because of it being reclined but uncomfortable in my opinion to lean forward and hunt out of. I wish that it had another position to sit straight up.

Re: Gas Attack at Home Depot

That's definitely one for the books Kevin. We'll played Sir, well played! I would LOVE to get my hands on some of that chili, it sounds great. I too have had some similar experiences. I once ate a small can of jalapeño cheese dip. The next day I was seated in a very small and tightly packed classroo...

Re: Ramcats: New vs. Old

Wow, that does look old. It looks like one of their early prototypes or something.

I'm glad that they've come a long ways since then. I'm assuming that these are the ones that people didn't really like at one point.

Re: Ramcats: New vs. Old

Thanks Don. As I look at that then I must have the "new" ones because mine aren't pointed. I just can't figure out why I was able to buy multiple packs of them out of the Bargain Cave for between $15-$20 per pack. So you can give them to your friends! LOL No doubt! Scroll down, ...

Re: Ramcats: New vs. Old

Well it seems that what you gentlemen are talking about is that you're both liking the "old" Ramcat's for your own different reasons.

I plan on trying them out on April 30 for our turkey season opener.
