Re: Crossbow vs.Compound Bow.
I love compound bows, however spine and shoulder surgery forced me to crossbows. crossbows are very accurate, easy to use and almost anyone with half a brain can pick one up and be putting arrows in the bull in a matter of hours. compound bows are (in my opinion) harder to shoot well. I'll never loo...

Re: moon phase simplified
Through the years I heard a lot of wives tales and misinformation regarding deer activity. The best advice has already been stated above "get off the couch" :) I've heard deer are not as active during windy days, rainy days, moon phase and so-on. Wouldn't it be nice if someone would actual...

I always soak my meat for 3 days in ice water before I process / freeze. As long as the meat was kept below 40 deg F, you will be fine.

Re: Matrix 330 Limb tip
I don't know, I called the archery shop they suggested and the guy that takes care of Excal warranty was already gone for the day. I had a few questions regarding what I needed to send. I was hoping just the riser and limbs so I didn't have to take the scope off. I was really hoping I could just get...

Re: Matrix 330 Limb tip
Excal warranty got back to me today and told me to ship the bow to an archery shop in Effingham, Il. Looks like I'll package it up and send it off.

Re: Matrix 330 Limb tip
I agree with your position, if I had a spare set of limbs I wouldn't worry about it either, but I don't. Peace of mind is a powerful thing, something I like to have :) I'll keep shooting it because I have no choice, other than going to my back-up bow. Here's the deal, I own a lot of higher end hunti...

Re: Matrix 330 Limb tip
Well, i guess that could be, but I really don't think this is excess glue curing, looks like cracking to me.

Matrix 330 Limb tip
Howdy all, I was going over my M330 this afternoon checking out everything before I go out again this weekend and noticed a crack developing on the right limb tip. I had a few void spots in the glue when I got the bow, but the crack just showed up. Have any of you had this issue ? Also, I do have a ...

Re: Equinox
If money was no object, I would use the same thought process you used in deciding to buy the M330. For Hunting you will appreciate the compact size compared to the longer limb bows. Additionally, spare parts, if you bought another M330 all spare parts will fit either bow. I have never owned longer l...

Matrix 330 weight
All you guy's and Gal's that own a M330, what is the total weight of your bow ? After I bought my 330, I went back to work and put it on the scales, it weighed just over 8 pounds. I assume the 5.1 pounds is a bare bow without quiver, scope and mounts ? Now that I put solid steel warne mounts on, I'm...
