Re: bumping your scope
Mine goes down on the scope every time. I can't get to lower onto the belly. I sit there trying for a few minutes every time. I usually wait till I get home and discharge in to my target. zero hasn't shifted yet. However..I haven't locktighted my scope mount screws. That needs to be done now. I can ...

Re: stayed home - it never fails
I woke up late myself on Sunday. Looked at the temp .....38F. I am sure they were moving. I missed it. Went out for dusk hunt. Not even a squirrel moving about. temp had gotten to mid seventies in some areas.
Wont be able to get back out for a few weeks. Hopefully have better luck.

brace heaight on a 405
I am a bit unsure on my brace height. All the excaliburs I have seen in the store have clearly visible lines for brace height. I have a very faint line on mine. It actually looks like it may just be the normal spot the string rests. I had to adjust the string today. the bumpers were being rested on....

Re: Treestands !!!
I have the cabelas summit viper. added the footrest. I am 6'3" 230. It is a bit tight in the shoulders. but not to the point I am constricted. weight is about 20#s so it is packable. I have been going in about a half mile. It climbs easily. I used to drool over the tree lounge. It was out of my...

Re: Trouble cocking the Axiom
I just cocked when in my stand and found it easier than on the ground. I am kind of cramped. So had to have the butt stock way behind me. Pulled up using all legs. No back or arms. This is with a 405...I am 6'3" So not sure if it would translate well to someone vertically challenged.

Re: Christmas
That was 22" zombies with 100 grain swackers. out of my 405. I only had two practice heads. so that is all you get. hitting about an inch low and half an inch or so to the right. I am good with that.
