Re: Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?

For the teller issue, it is hard to tell from the picture, but there is a visible difference, 3-4mm a least when comparing the gap from the string to each bumber. Will get exact measure tonight from the limb exit to string on each side.

Thank you,

Re: Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?

Hi Peter,

I will do the measurement tonight. Can you confirm that the speed will not be affected with the new limbs angle slightly backward without having a longer rail?

As for the photobucket issue, I use a different site for the picture in the first post.

Thank you,

Re: Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?

Thanks for the reply guys. So they did modified my riser. I dont get this. I never ask for them to do this. All I had was 2 splinter in my right limb. Since the gen 1 rail was not replaced and the power stroke is now shorter, speed will be impacted. Also, why are the picture I posted removed? If the...

Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?

Hi, I had a cracked limb on my Gen 1 Micro 335. I send the riser assembly to excal for warranty repairs. Both limbs were replaced but now the string is not parallel anymore with the brace high line (hard to see on the picture but it is not). I have removed one limb and the riser portion under the li...

Re: Magnus Bull Head combo

I am shooting the bullhead 125 gr out of my micro 335 very accurately. 1 inch group at 20 yard. Tagged out last year with this setup. You need very stiff arrow. In my case, using 18 inch Zombie slayer, 92 gr brass insert, and 2 inch blazer vane helical and plastic noc. See this tread for the proof :...

Re: Fastest Moose hunt ever using Ramcat BH

The best is this was my first archery moose ever. I Was able to get a buck close at least 7-8 time in the last 4 archery seasons, but not close enough to take a shot. The other mooses I killed were all in rifle season. But more and more I mainly hunt using a crossbow. 2016 was a perfect year for me....

Here is the video of the hunt. It is a little dark for my Gopro but we can still heard the buck calling non stop when approaching.

Fastest Moose hunt ever using Ramcat BH

The 2016 moose hunt in Quebec lasted 5 min. I arrived at my stand at 5h40 AM opening day. Not even 5 min. after, I hear a moose walking near by (Cracking branches). I call once, he responded right away. He kept calling every 5-10 sec. I kept looking at my watch since I was only allow to shoot at 5h5...

Re: Best Turkey season ever

The big plus using a crossbow is after the first shot, the remaining turkeys normally stay close enough for a second shot.

Best Turkey season ever

This year was my best Turkey season ever. My dad and I are hunting in the same blind. He is new to turkey hunting. I am not an expert either, been hunting for turkey for the last 3 years now. Well got a Jake last week-end and my dad shoot one at the same time. Their was 8 jakes at 10 yards from us. ...

Re: turkeys beware

For those interested, I finally was able to test the 125gr magnus bullhead out of my micro. Arrow specification are 18 inch Zombie slayers, 2'' blazer vane (helical with Arizona EZ fletch), plastic flat nock, 80gr brass insert and 125gr bullhead. Total weigh of around 400gr. I was very surprised wit...

Re: turkeys beware

I am in the process of making turkey bolt myself using 4'' fletch. What kind of arm did you get: Straight, right offset or right helical? Also, have you try the 125gr magnus bullhead or just the 100gr ones. I have a few 125gr laying around from when I use to shoot a vertical bow and was wondering ho...

Re: Micro and Quills

I noticed the same. The quill at 350gn don't group well enough for me (2 inch at 20 yards). They group well with the 150gn field point but I am hunting using Ramcat 100gn. With Zombie slayer at 385gn (100gn point) the accuracy is amazing.
