Re: Shooting Ramcat threw micro 355
I am using ramcat with my Micro 335 and they clear the stirrup no problem. Unless they change the stirrup on the 355, it should also fit.

Re: New Micro serving issue
When practice shooting yesterday the serving got pretty bad after 3-4 shoot. It was not only separating but also being teared. I had to replace the string with my backup one. Like Brian, I'm having a real hard time justifying buying a new trigger on a brand new 900$ crossbow because it is damaging t...

Re: New Micro serving issue
I initialy was using rail lube but stop using it. I was tired of cleaning the rail with everything sticking to the rail lube. Maybe this is the reason my serving got damaged as you are suggesting. I then start waxing the serving as per Excalibut user guide. I also order some Dalton's wax. Going to u...

Re: New Micro serving issue
Since you are using a custom flemish string, maybe this explain why your serving last longer as oppposed to the stock one (Meaning the serving is of better quality). I will also try your recommendation about not waxing the serving anymore. I will only clean the deck with Jig-A-Loo and go from there....

Re: New Micro serving issue
I think you are right about the wax on the serving. I think the wax is acting like a memory on the serving. That is why the engraving is still visible after I let the crossbow cocked for 4-5 hour to stress test the limbs. I did pre-stretch the backup string also by cocking the crossbow for 4-5 hour....

Re: New Micro serving issue
Question: do you wax the serving a lot? I wax it twice so far. I put the wax then rub it in using a piece a leather. Question: is it an original string that came strung on the limbs? Yes. This is the original string that came with the crossbow. Question: is your backup string an original string or ...

Re: New Micro serving issue
I already have a backup string. So I am covered on this. I am not to sure how to go about polishing the latch. Do I polish it while it is armed (lower position) or while it is up. I am planning on using my dremel with a rubber bit. Do you think this should be covered under the warranty? I know some ...

New Micro serving issue
I am new to the crossbow world. I have been hunting and shooting a bow for the past 25 years. But due to a wrist fracture, I can no longer shoot a bow. I bought a micro 335 end of August for my moose hunt next week. I have shoot the micro around 50 time to sight in the scope and for fun. It shoot gr...
