Blazer 2" Vanes
So I re-fletched some of the Diablo bolts that I have managed to damage by either hitting them with another bolt in the target or blowing through the target. I bought the Arizona EZ Fletch and some Blazer 2" Vanes. I used the Blue Gorilla glue after I cleaned the bolt. It wasn't that hard and I...

Re: new limb strap bolts
Do you know if they have the new style bolts for the Air Brakes? They are longer.

Re: NAP Crossbow Spitfire Opinions.
What size bands do you use? I see there are 3/16" and 1/4". I took a shot at a doe last year with the FOC using my M380 and had the blade open up on me. Found it in the ground with one blade broken about 20yds out. Definitely going to band them this year!!

Small difference in gap - REDS
I put air brakes on my M380 last night. Now I have a very small difference on where the string touches the REDS. While the right RED has the string touching there is less than an 1/8" gap on the left RED. I don't remember seeing the difference before. Do I need to take the limbs off again? They...

Re: Hawke XB30 Pro Speed Ring
I recently took a Leupold Crossbones off my Matrix 350 and replaced it with a Zeiss XB75. I had the Leupold set on 360 fps and was driving nails out to 50 yards. The Zeiss is set on 325 fps and is also driving nails at 50 yards, Same bow, same arrows. Why?? Damn if I know but I like it because I pr...

Re: Hawke XB30 Pro Speed Ring
I'm not sure I understand. Did you sight in using your speed ring? I'm assuming you dialed in using your turrets then adjusted your speed dial for the other yardages. If you did, I wouldn't worry about the number on the dial. I was with Comfybear on the 100yard range at Boofest and he dialed that s...

Hawke XB30 Pro Speed Ring
I recently installed a Hawke XB30 Pro on my M380. When I was siting it in I had to set the speed dial all the way down to 300 to get it accurate past 20 yards. I know that it is shooting a lot faster than 300fps. I am using the Diablo arrows and 150gr field tips. Anyone else ever have an issue with ...

Re: Hoisting a crossbow up to a treestand
I also have 2 ropes. One for my pack and one for my bow. I hunt platform stands with climbing sticks. I cock my crossbow on the ground and use the stirrup for attaching to the rope. I make sure the bow is not touching the ground before I go up the ladder. This makes sure it is quiet pulling the cros...

Re: Hunting From an Elevated Position..
Walking in the dark I have had deer snort at me from 10 yards. Thought I was going to mess my pants!! My heart was racing so fast I had to sit down and rest :D I have also come within a couple of yards from stepping on a porcupine. Glad I heard it stir at the last minute otherwise my morning might h...
