Re: Opinions on the Matrix Grizzly.
I was a gun guy too... the Grizzly added another month onto my hunting season so it was a no brainer for 7$ archery permit. I shoot mine 100% stock except for some minor camo wrapping and a Flemish string upgrade. The scope is good enough for hunting and target shooting for fun. Even use the diablo ...

Re: After so many years...
There is a scribed line on the rail for the BH at 1.5" and I believe most of the Grizzly folk are maintaining that or just under. May have to pull the string a bit to see it. I have nothing for you on the case. Congrats on the xbow!

Re: What is needed to know for shooting first time?
The Grizzly doesn't come equipped with an Anti Dry-Fire device so along with what everyone else has mentioned I think it's good practice to 1. read the manual (even if you're like me and aren't a manual reader) because it's a weapon and misuse can cause damage or death 2. Be meticulous in your pre-s...

Re: Let's hear about X mas gifts
I told the wife to take it easy on me this year as I had already bought the crossbow and countless other hunting/fishing things throughout the year. So I was surprised when I found a big box under the tree for daddy. It was full of camo... the good stuff, but as I got to looking it was all size smal...

Welcome and nice shooting! Remember this as a good way to relieve yourself of stock arrows later when you get the bug for an upgrade.

A Poem lol... by Coon Gravy, esq.
There are some fine poets and painters etc. on this forum so I thought I'd give the arts a go, Texas style. Please don't take this as mockery, it is the best I can do. Saturdays of the Season! (to the tune "Jingle Bells" in the spirit of Christmas!) Dashing to the store To get another case...

Re: Bloodtrail Tracking
I have a purple/red filtered LED that is supposed to help with blood tracking and it sucks. I've just gone back to using a lantern or regular flashlights.

Re: Hunting with ghillie suit
Same for me, no ghillie suit, but 3D leafy camo head to toe. I took the pole saw out in September and cut green limbs and made a few brush piles to sit in around my hunting area so I would have some options if the wind didn't play nice. By the time season opened the leaves were browned up nice and t...

Re: OT: Open Carry
I have to disagree based on nothing more than my perspective of it. But it is legal and to each their own. I may not agree with what you say but I'll defend to the death your right to say it? Same thing goes here with me... it's a new kind of crazy out there with the mass shootings and stuff on the ...
