Re: Is this REALLY a crossbow???
This conversation happened when compound bows came out and still is happening. It probably also happened in medieval times when they made the first crossbow by some umpity long archer who didn't like change. Remember only six months ago the very guys were still trying to take scopes away from the c...

Re: Canadian Gun Ban
Looking up your firearms in the FRT(Firearms Reference Table)? For me the Armalytics website a way faster than downloading latest copy of the FRT. https://www.armalytics.ca Reading this morning, comparing the May 5th FRT release and the May 26th FRT release. The May 26th FRT release is over a 1000 p...

Re: Shooting Range Closed Covid-19
Both of my ranges are closed. No playing with the range toys until the all clear is given.
Meanwhile, I think I've reloaded just about every piece of brass I own.
Spring Fishing, check before you go, I'm reading some municipalities have closed their boat launch ramps.

Looks good! I can't tell from the pictures, do you have anything between the stirrup and the rail? A thin rubber isolator works wonder for noise and vibration reduction.

Re: Owning four Excalibur’s
I'm down to 4, from a high of 5, traded the Exocet 200 in on Marin #4. But, I would buy another Micro Suppressor in Realtree AP Snow in a flash. https://i.imgur.com/ezUVK3Il.jpg From bottom left, Exocet 200, 380 Xtra, Micro Suppressor, 380 Lynx, Wolverine. Don requires a much bigger trailer for all ...

Re: FIBERBOARD SHEATHING TARGETS
I still think the 'Garbage Can' full of rags has been my best home made archery target. It's been sitting outside for almost 3 years now. If Arrows start getting close to flights in depth, pick Can up swish the Can in a circular motion to redistribute rags. When your done shooting stand it up and pu...

Re: Where are the "kids" crossbows
On Ontario it makes no sense what so ever to own a kids bow. The gap from when they could use it alone and when they could legally hunt with one by themselves is basically non existent. So you'd be better off to buy a 308 short. Cock it for them, since you are sitting with them the whole time anywa...

Re: Boofest Charity Prizes
The responsibility for any duty, shipping or any other costs incurred will be the responsibility of the winner of any prizes. There will be a silent auction for 2 guided hunts! One bear in Saskatchewan and one deer hunt in South Dakota! The bear hunt is donated by Canadian Whitetail Outfitters and ...

Re: TARGETS TARGETS TARGETS....and BENCHES
Unfortunately due to the effects of West Nile I'll not be able to make it this year
. I've yet to shoot an arrow this year.
Fatigue sets in real quick cranking bows and fetching arrows from target.

Serial Number Rant!
Lets have a show of hands for those that enjoy the Perp walk to the till at Canadian Tire when you want to buy a box of 22 shells or a Swiss Army Knife. Excalibur has rolled belly up and is giving the Government away to "Register" our bows, away for the Government to record who bought it. The Govern...
