Re: Hunting from a Caldwell Chair Pod, anybody
Just an update on the chair pod by Caldwell. Pretty sweet chair, great rest, 360 degree rotation, very quiet. Would recommend for any crossbow hunter. Very stable shooting. I hunt from a tent blind mostly and it is very friendly for my style of hunting. Now my son and I argue over who gets the chair...

Re: Matrix 330 draws first blood tonight. Victory short live
15 minutes of legal light left and headed back to the truck heard a deer running in my direction. First came a big doe at a full trot and never slowed down. Just a few seconds latter I heard a deep grunt and a nice fat 8 point buck appears 25 yards away on the doe's trail and stops dead in his trac...

Re: Which Excalibur to buy?
Well it's been a while since I received my 380. Have to admit I love it. Changed the trigger to a trigger tech 2.5 hunter, changed the scope out for the Zeiss XB75, custom bolts executioners 20" lengths, added air brakes. Have two Flemish strings coming from boo custom strings. My set up withou...

Re: Glad on my decision!
Thanks and I am really impressed for the first time shootibg this how accurate they are. I am sold for sue! I know exactly how you feel. I've been shooting traditional archery for 20 plus years and recently got the itch to buy an Excalibur. The first one I got was the Micro 335 for my son and then ...

Micro 335 & Caldwell chairpod hunt this morning
Hunted this morning with my son in the tent blind. I let him sit in the chairpod and I just hung out with him, no hunting for dad today. We did see one buck come in but at a range of approximately 200 yards. The chairpod was easy to carry in and set up, but gave him Salome great stability. Maybe nex...

Re: Would you guys w/ micros reccomend them to your best fri
We bought a micro for my son about 6 weeks ago, he shoots the heck out of it. He maintains brace height and waxes string consistently. Hasn't had any issues thus far, he probably shoots 20-25 shots a day. Other than shooting to good of groups and screwing up arrows, absolutely no complaints. I'd do ...

Re: Hawks Xb pro 30 or Ziess XB75? Opinions on better choice
Great feedback guys, thank you. Dave at Wyvern is sending me a Ziess Xb 75 to run with. I'll give it a go and who knows there may be another Excalibur show up and we'll set it up with a Hawke. These things have a mysterious way of just showing up around my house.

Hawks Xb pro 30 or Ziess XB75? Opinions on better choice
Just curious as to which scope you guys have found to be better quality overall? The Hawke XB pro or th Ziess XB75. Any input on your opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'll be selling the stock tact zone illuminated scope from my Matrix 380 if anybody may be interested. I'll be sure and post ov...

Re: Hunting from a Caldwell Chair Pod, anybody
Let us know how you like the chair pod. I have been eyeballin them myself. The standard field pod could be a bit wider at the feet for better stability. As long as I don't bump it, it's good. I learned that the hard way. :x Crazy Horse, I'm in love with the chair pod. This thing rocks and vert stab...

Re: Hunting from a Caldwell Chair Pod, anybody
Hey folks, Just a little update on the chair pod from Caldwell. This thing is awesome. Folds up pretty nice and small, holds my Matrix 380 really nice. I went ahead and set up my tent blind I hunt from and set the chair inside. Got to say I was kinda concerned at first before ordering from Amazon, $...

Hey guys, Pretty new too forum and glad to see what some post and respond. Do any of you hunt from a Caldwell Chair pod, if not what's your set-up like. We hunt in the piney woods here in Texas where I hunt so tree stands and tripods are kind of the order of the area. What do you guys hunt in or from?
