I just looked at the Manual for Excal xbows brace height under instruction manual page 18 shows the brace height for matrix and micro as well as the exo series . It should be in the Manual that comes with the bow . If not look to the left side of the web page under support .

The rope is supposed to be short . You need to lift the string to the hook and pull . On this web site I think there is a section on using the cocking rope . Did you get an manual with it ? That should be in there .

Right I have looked for low power crossbows excal really don't have one . I found one it is a parker stingray bowfishing crossbow I don't like the idea that it is compound . but I may have to go with that

I can't use a bow can not draw them back due to MS so I have to go with a crossbow or find a left handed Drawloc device to put on a bow then it is like a crossbow .

Crossbow for bowfishing
I am thinking about getting a crossbow just for bowfishing any suggestions on what I would need for draw wt. and speed ? I don't think I need a 200 or over pound draw wt. I am looking at the matrix cub .

Thanks I have about 18 gold tip laser 2 that need the vanes replaced . I figured instead of having to buy a jig and all that stuff I would use them I will give them a try,

I for one could show them a tax return I have to do this to get equipment that I needed for my MS and can not afford it . I had to fill out a form for crossbow permit stating I was disabled and not able to pull a bow back at the legal draw wt. I had to have Dr. fill out a section stating why . One s...

So it is supply and demand that figures , If excals are selling that well why can't the price be reduced a little at that rate of sales they had to have recouped the expenses . I for one will never own nothing other then Excalibur .

Yes covering cost to make it is what has to done . But if the price was reduced would more units not be sold . Yes it may take more time to recoup the expense but more units would be sold .

I have mobility problems comes with MS along with hand/ arm issues and some vision issues all comes with MS. My concern is if the price keeps going up how can a new person disabled or not wanting to get into Crossbows supposed to afford one ? That is one less person in support of crossbows . Which a...
