Re: Matrix 330 vs 355

Own the 355 and love it. Problem free. Long practice sessions aren't a problem as I use a crank. Still astonished by it's accuracy.

Re: Question on bolts for Matrix bows

I own a Matrix 355. Absolutely love it. As others have said purchase Black Eagle arrows: Executioners, Zombies or Spynal Tapps. Presently I am shooting 18 inch executioners: 110 brass front insert, luminoc, 2" blazers, 100 grain heads. On a rifle bench I get consistent under 1 inch groups out t...

Re: Which Slick Trick to use?

I have a 355 and have used both Grizz Trick 2 and Magnums. They will shoot very accurately but not necessarily the same as your field points. A minor scope adjustment usually one or two clicks.....No problem. Having used these since they came on the market. I do have one issue and that is I get what...

Re: Kenetic Energy

I find that the stiffer arrows will consistently hit higher. I have seen this occur with arrows weighing as much as 25 grains difference and various insert configurations. I have no explanation. I shoot mostly 40 - 50 yards. My Executioners, 18 or 20 inch, will have a lower poi than my zombies, 18 o...

Re: most accurate arrow & broadhead

I also have found Black Eagle arrows to be the best. I shoot 18 inch Executioners from my Matrix 355. 110 gr. front insert, 2 inch blazers offset helical, luminock, and 100 grain broad heads. Excellent accuracy out to 60 yards. Arrow weight is about 417. BE Zombie with 92 grains in front, luminock, ...

Re: ? for those with a 380 Matrix

Thank's guys....I'm really looking forward to enjoying the performance numbers your giving and the advantages it can contribute to shot's out West here where I hunt :D Now, if I can just pull it ? But that's a question only I can answer  I find 270 # do-able on my Micro 335 as it's a very sho...

Re: broad head selection

Although I am somewhat disappointed in my recent Slick Trick performance I would still recommend people try them. Ram Cats are on the list to try. I find them flying well and accurate out of my 355. The 125 is interesting as it has a 1.5 inch cut diameter; same as the Spitfire mechanical, a head tha...

Re: broad head selection

I have used Slick Tricks since their intro on the market. Until this past season have never considered switching. 3 deer with magnums and no or very poor blood trails. The no blood trail was a double lung pass through; not a single drop even where the deer was down. I have never experienced this be...

Re: WHat Are Ya changin fer this Season ?

I'm going to try a mechanical broadhead for turkey this spring.I have been leery of mechanicals in the past but liked the design of the new Wasp Jak Knifes so I purchased a 3 pack to try. They appear solid, are sharp and fly great as expected of a mechanical.Practice shooting into a foam target they ...

Re: M405 an Mechanical Broadheads

You might look at Wasp Archery. Wasp has a 3 bladed mechanical, the Jak X, that might fit your needs. It will come double banded. The two bladed Jak Knife will also work if double banded. Not many people mention Wasp but their products are quality and very robust.

Re: About inserts...

You may want to try the Clean Shot "Lock-n-Load" inserts. These are not glued in. Interchangeable inserts. They come in 112 and 92 grain weights, .300 id shafts. They allow ease for tuning or aligning your broad heads. I find these very "handy" to try different configurations. I ...

Re: Black Eagle Arrow Helical?

I shoot 20" Black Eagle Executioners with the 3 inch vanes, straight offset (factory). I also shoot 18" & 20"BEEs with 2 inch Blazers with helical (custom). 2 inch or less groups at 60 yards. 1 inch or less at 40 yards. In my 355 it doesn't seem to matter. I am in the process of t...
