Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Chad I live in Junction City Ks. I'm wondering how many posts I need to private message? I have several photos of my predator calling and hunting but I'm not sure how to post them on here. I could give you my email address if you want. Erick

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

If you don't want to invest in an e-caller right now its not necessary. Like I was telling you I started using mouth calls and with patience and practice I did fairly well and I'm sure you will to. If you can use open reed howlers and learn a few howls it will just double your chances! You can also ...

Re: Predator Hunting Questions

Hi Chad. I call a lot of coyotes and a few bobcats here in Kansas every fall and winter. My choice for calling rifles are 2 bolt action Remington 700s one in .204 ruger caliber and one in .243 Winchester caliber. I used mouth calls for a lot of years but a few years ago I bought a FoxPro crossfire e...

Re: o/t coyotes

I call predators in my area every winter. I have and use a FoxPro crossfire and it works excellent. Before I bought the electronic caller I used hand calls and those worked great as well. Good luck calling.

Re: 9 point buck photo!

I was using a Diablo lumenok bolt with a 150gr. boltcutter broadhead. The shot was close somewhere around 10 to 15 yards. The shot went through both lungs and he ran maybe 40 to 50 yards. I was a little worried because there was no blood right where I initially made the shot. But the last place I he...

Re: Posting pics

Thank you to everyone who helped post my photo and thanks for the info on posting pics. To answer your question on is he going on the wall. Yes I am getting an antler plaque made of the horns. I would have to get a 150'' class deer or better to get a whole head mount. I am happy with my new matrix m...

9 point buck photo!

I've tried several times to post a picture of my buck but cannot. As well someone private messaged me to send the pic to them so they could post it. It says that I am not authorized to use private messages. So I could not read or respond to their message. I will probably just go off the forum. Thank...

Scored a 9 point with my new matrix 380!

I bought a matrix 380 a month or so back and have been target shooting with it. I find it to be an excellent crossbow and very accurate. Last week I went out deer hunting and shot a 9 point whitetail buck. :D I'm using the diablo lumenok bolts and the 150 gr. boltcutter broadheads. If I can figure o...
