You guys talked me into it...sent Dave from Wyvern a message...holding off for now. If he can't get something to me in a week, I'll pick up some pile drivers...still havn't found a decent illuminated nock for those though.

At a bit of a loss with all the options in the market. I'm looking for new bolts to get me into the 425ish weight (Or what you Veteran bear hunters suggest) using a 100gBH. I shoot an Equinox and have only shot 20" bolts from it. If you are an avid black bear hunting your opinion is appreciated...

Thanks for all the suggestions. Picked up an Ex rope cocker and actually relized what the real problem was....I wasn't following the instructions of using the groove by the safety. I had just put the hooks on the string and pulled up. Live and learn. Doing it as directed eas so much easier. Lol

I made a set of shooty sticks last year for yote hunting. They are easily adjustable so I gave the a GO with my equinox. Sighted in at all range marks on the scope, 20 30 40 and excellent groups. I have all the confidence needed to pull off that 40 yard shot. Like other have said...practice
