Re: Micro arrow opinions

I am shooting a first gen Micro 335 and shooting Spinal Tapps at 422 grains. I have a Boo string also. It has been trouble free. You can really tell a difference between the 422grain arrows and ones that are less than 400. Bow seems much louder and seems to have more vibration. I also just last week...

Another vote for vixenmaster. I just got a string from him and it is top notch and you can't beat the price.

Re: Arrow Retension Spring

In addition to the shrink tubing, I also put a strip of the fuzzy part of Velcro on the bottom side. I use this stuff on lots of my hunting gear to help silence it.

Re: Arrow length

I ordered sone Spinal Tapps from Jerry at South Shore last week and he recommended 16.5" for the Micro. I went with his recommendation!

I had the same problem, and the Teflon tape took care of it.

Re: Broadhead for a excalibur micro 335

I just got a Micro myself and I will use a Slick Trick in whatever weight that gets me between 375-400 grains. I have used them for years with great success. But the main thing is to use something that hits where you aim.

Re: nap quikfletch

I have used them for both crossbow and my compound. They seem to fly good enough for my minute of deer hunting. I always keep a couple on hand foe quick fixes.

Re: Pine Mt archery

I just got my camo Micro that I won on eBay from pine mountain archery. Got it for$775 shipped to my door with the Tact Zone scope it arrived in just a few days and I couldn't be happier with their service. But I had rotator cuff surgery just 4 weeks ago and it will be a while before I can shoot it.

Re: 2016 Models - Not impressed.

I was holding out till the 2016 models came out. And ended up buying a Micro 335 on eBay last night for $775 shipped. While I was waiting to see the Micro 355, the extra $ for just 20 more fps I couldn't justify it. I only turkey and deer hunt, so the 335 will do me just fine. This is not a rag on t...

Re: o\t ccw who does it an what do you carry

I have carried for over 30 years. Started out with S&W model 19. Over the years most of my carry has been with a Commander sized 1911. Recently I got a Glock 43 small 9mm and it is with me at all times. It carries all day comfortably I did a little work to it with XS sights, trigger job and grip...
