Maybe 8 years ago I bought a set of strings & cables for a Hoyt compound bow, they were pretty good. I would recommend a heavy Flemish fron one of the guys here on the Trading Post, those I have used on my Excalibur's, work great.

Any recommendations would help on who makes them .

Looks like I need to look better when im installing the arrow into place

im shooting 125 grain field tip ,375 grain total weight with arrow and field point.

Excalibur calls the Bulldog 400 a Matrix Bulldog 400. This model may not apply to you, though. The Bulldog spec string is reportedly 1/2" shorter than other Matrix models, 30.5" vs 31". It's probably close enough that you could twist a Matrix string to Bulldog length though, if that'...
