Re: How much for a Vortex?

NO, not me. My wife when to German school until her German 8th year so she does the translation  I think that all things considered, you are making the right decision. If you decide to keep the 330 as your main bow, get yourself a spare set of limbs. I would imagine that you know someone t...

Get Amsteel rope, comes in several diameters and lengths, I use around 1/8” with no problems for cocking and stringing aides. Jody5252, pm me your address and I will send you a yard or so. Double knot the ends, and burn the frayed strands to make a bulb on the end.

Re: I just don’t know

Chief, I bought an Axe for the incredible deal. I love it, Mag 40 now, but same chit. I must admit though that the older bows to me are more appealing. It's easier to rope cock my Matrix 380 than it is for the 340 Micro. That said, I had an itch for another Vortex, this one is my project bow which ...

Re: Ugh the atrocities

Seeing a lot of gripes on the forum how Excaliburs customer service has been lack luster and bashing them and the product.... Allow me to write about my experience.... After a pretty unsatisfying experience with my local shop buying my bow (which my order still hasn't been completely fulfilled) I w...

Re: How much for a Vortex?

There is nothing the vortex won't do that your BD330 won't do just as well or better. Except maybe anchor your Pirate Ship.  Have your ever dropped the lower section of your climber and had to use that BD330 as a fixed wing glider to get back to the ground? A Vortex might just do the jo...

Re: noisy Axiom

Check and make sure all of your fasteners are tight and not moving. In my experience with my buddies axiom, it was always quieter due to the SMF mainframe.

Re: The Kid doing his Euro Mount

. To whiten them up and remove residual odor I use peroxide and bag the head, tying the bag tightly around both antlers so it does not whiten the bases. Then pour in as many bottles of peroxide as it takes to have cover and soak the entire bagged skull and work it's O2 magic. This removes smells th...

Re: The Kid doing his Euro Mount

Can you post a pic of how white your skulls turn out using that blue or purple stuff you mentioned.. Here, I snuck in and grabbed it. I would have done this one a little more, but I stopped for two reasons, first it starts to look unnatural the more white it goes, personal opinion. And second, I us...

After 3 nights in peroxide. Sorry for the crappy pic. I have to hang them in my Son's room or my wife will throw them out. He's sleeping or I'd go snap one right now

Re: The Kid doing his Euro Mount

I've only boiled a couple so far but I researched it like crazy. It the nose and teeth fall out you've boiled it to long. And the yellow spots are from oils from the flesh were not removed first and essentially got boiled into the pores of the bone. However, if you DO boil it until the teeth are loo...

Re: The National Police Federation issues position statement opposing May 1 gun ban

You have to wonder where the political idiots get these ideas. Outlaw guns and only outlaws have guns, where does that help anyone? Maybe make people accountable for the safety of the guns they own legally and enforce sales to those that don’t qualify to own them . We are vetted every 24 hours, ass...

Re: The Kid doing his Euro Mount

Forgot to mention, rinse thoroughly with water and let dry completely between applications. I applied at night, rinsed before work, let dry all day and re apply again after work. Did it three times. Here's the stuff. I actually used the blue whitener over the purple. I think purple was stronger or s...

This is true! I got a thorough and complete bear dressing lesson this year(he did the whole thing, and I drank a Bear Hug IPA and watched) from Carnivorous.
