Re: No Hunting!!

I understand. I'm not a land owner, but I personally would expect that a hunter or anyone for that matter would treat my land better than I would myself. That's how I operate on my hunting spots. Cleared so many trees and trails lately, but I have not cut my own lawn in who knows how long  I ca...

What is the best way to store strings, i.e. just hang them up, hang with some tension on them, or just roll them up and put in a drawer?
Bill
Paper clip on the ends to keep them from untwisting and a baggie in a drawer is totally fine.

Re: Extra limbs

I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. Went back on FB excalibur forum and am now worried that I should order a set of backup limbs. Out of my gen 1 micro 335 I shoot stock quills with lumenok and 150 grain head. I do have a backup bow in my axiom, but love my micro. Sorry for going back on FB, but ...

It's my 8th wedding anniversary. Little lady wanted Chinese food and to watch Ungle Buck. So just hanging out watching some classic John Candy!

You’ll be the guy with the coolest bow in the woods? Very nice indeed! What speeds are you getting?
That one's a few years old now, it was at Boofest 2018. It does 368-370 in factory trim, but I keep it around 350 with a classy BOO string  and heavy arrows.

In my limited experience with this exact situation.

I would say, the k itchen is the most important item on your list.

Re: Lets talk back pack's.

I just down sized to one of those rear fanny backs with the shoulder straps. I too carry everything with me, and I'm trying to limit it to stuff I need immediately.

Re: Where'd the AXE go? _ GOT ONE

Today was a good day! I got a Mag 340. The guy that took my call had it all assembled and ready to go when I got there ( a 3 hour drive). They did not have a single accessory though. No extra Quills, no extra string - the main two things I wanted. The lady there was either the manager or the owner....

Thanks Boo, that's what I saw the mainframe made of plastic. I like the mag 340.
Sort of confusing all these different names.
The G340 uses matrix limbs, a buddy of mine has one and it's a really nice bow. The Mag340 is micro based.

Re: Micro PitBull370 Cerakote complete

Janesy how are the limbs holding up on this 370? Those particular limbs have been on that riser for 4 years. I ran them on a hybrid 335 Gen1/2 for a year and a bit. Then the combo went on this custom machined rail. In early 2018 before the bow was cerakoted. They are perfectly fine. They were actua...

For what the price of crossbows are Excalibur should never allow this to leave the factory,
It's hardly an Excalibur exclusive problem.

Why mentioning if it is no problem over here. Laying focus on these kind of things, often makes things worse than it is.
The problem has been dealt with accordingly and is no longer a public issue.

Re: Range finder shot craps.

Email me if this does not make sense. One day with a little time to kill recently I took the Crossbows to my B.I.Ls house to shoot. While rangfinding & setting my deer target out at various ranges to check Nikon Spot On to my bows. That program only works on what speed you put in, all the other inf...
