Re: Hooks up or down

Open side up is how I was taught for using chains and cables for vehicle recovery. That way, if the chain/cable or hook breaks it will go down away from you instead of up at you :eusa-dance:

Re: string life

Even if you haven't shot it very much, being 4 years old you more than got your money out of that string. Replace it and get a spare set up as well so that you're never stuck needing a string.

Crossbow stringer

Does anyone know where to find a stringer for my Mag340? Every place I've checked has them on backorder since October.

Re: Take care of your string, it's easy

Those are string issues that should only be dealt with on the night before opening day :eusa-whistle:
A little string maintenance goes a long way in keping everything shooting great!

Re: FIBERBOARD SHEATHING TARGETS

The targets you're describing are made with tentest. It's a fibreboard type of sheathing that you could buy in natural or black in colour. The black was actually a tar coating on the board and isn't recommennded for using to make targets.

Re: Thinking of trying out new vanes.....suggestions?

Do a search on here and you will find lots of information on FlexFletch SK200's and 300's.

Re: Matrix Mega 405 shooters, a question!

I don't have a 405, but I'll offer this advice. Get some Black Eagle Zombie Slayers with 110 grain inserts up front, this will allow you to shoot 100 grain heads and be over 400 total grains. I would suggest you get fixed heads to eliminate any worry of premature expansion, and there are many to ch...

Re: TRIGGERTECH

The noise is created by excess energy that isn't transferred to the arrow. Best way to silence any bow, vertical or crossbow, is by increasing arrow weight within acceptable limits.

Re: Scentlok ozone thingy?

Its sad that a hunter has to drag an electronic device like this in order to have sucess its more trouble than its worth what happened to good old scent control and hunting the wind ...the basic fundamentals of hunting . I might be wrong, but, I think it's more like marketing companies creating a n...

Re: Matrix 350se limbs

So I'm the only one that this has happened to with the 350se? An hour sure doesn't give many people a chance to respond. I haven't had a single issue with my 350SE, but I did with a Grizzly last year and warranty took care of it quickly. Now is the time to get it taken care of before hunting season...

Re: Slick Trick blade orientation

Blade orientation with fletching has no effect on flight at all. Now spending the time making sure your broadheads are true to the shaft, that's extremely important. If it has any slight wobble to it, your going to have issues with flight. Take the time to spin all your shafts with broadheads attach...
