Re: OT: Canadain Firearm Buy Back Program
Canada Illustrates The Reality Of The Gun-Control Agenda Learning from one’s own misfortunes is smart, but it’s wiser to learn from—and avoid—the misfortunes of others. For American Second Amendment supporters, the Canadian experience provides a chilling and instructive lesson in what gun controlle...

Re: Excalibur hits another home run
So, If I may ask (getting off daughter marrying) and back to the “home run” by Excalibur…what exactly is different with this particular bow that makes it a “home run”? Looks like all the other crossbows to me! Not dissing them as they are some of the best on the market but what is it about this part...

Re: OT: Canadain Firearm Buy Back Program
Thank you! My concern was the availability of an Anticosti deer hunt. My primary hunting rifle is a BAR MKIi 308 semi-auto.

Twinstrike
I see Wyvern has the Twinstrike on sale for $1299!
Is this because the “dual fire” xbow has not been welcomed and praised by the xbow public?
I still love the idea of 2 shots…
What has been the experience of the Excalibur forum members? Someone must have a Twinstrike?

Re: Gear tip deer cart
Just checked my 4 wheel Hawke Crawler and the tires are very low. This has never carried an animal…just my ground blind and assorted gear at season’s close. Bringing my little compressor in from the garage to pump them up! Thanks for the tip!

Re: Hunting Blunders. Asking for a friend.
Not really a blunder but more of a wrong, hasty, decision… Many years ago we used to hunt East/Central Vermont and BIG bucks were not really that common. Bucks only gun season and I turned my scope to 9 power to watch a deer about 50yds out…a doe. I was kneeling in the middle of a rocky hilltop depr...

Sausages and schnitzel?
I can picture the Seinfeld “soup nahtzee” as a big ol German heifer and wearing a “People Eating Tasty Animals” pin on her chef’s hat saying…”NO SCHNITZEL FOR U”!!

Re: Deer meat
Deer meat = lamb Except for the chops and tenderloins, I treat it like shish-ka-bob (lamb on the stick) and use bacon, bacon grease, salt, pepper and green peppers and Vidalia onion on the skewer. I par-cook the bacon then roll the pieces of venison in the grease, salt and pepper to taste then build...
