Re: Matrix Grizzly help...

I had the exact same issue, I bought a part # 1981 for my Grizzly because it said it fits all bows after 2008 with the 5 horizontal lines. It didn't fit so I called Excalibur support and they told me I need part # 1958,,,,but I didn't see them on the web anywhere???? Maybe I will end up adding a rif...

Re: Advice for Grizzly crossbow (new guy)

I think that I'm good now......unstrung and untwisted the string about 7 or 8 twists. That allowed me to slide the supressors (like reds) in all the way to the shoulder. After doing this the string is about 1/8" from the bumpers and I have a 1" brace height. I know that I will have to wat...

Re: Advice for Grizzly crossbow (new guy)

I had the same problem with my Grizzly, used flat washers on the REDS, two on each, gave me 1/4 inch of the bumpers, with a 1.5 inch brace height. Be sure to loctite the screws. Hope that helps. I like that idea......the bow shot so well at 1.5" brace height that I moved it back to that dimens...

Game camera GPS locator

Anybody have any experience with an Android app that would allow me to create a waypoint when I place trail cameras in the woods? My memory isn't what it used to be.

Advice for Grizzly crossbow

Hello, looking for some advice. I have shot my new Grizzly about 30 times and have left it cocked overnight 3 or 4 nights. My brace height still measures 1.5 inches. I just installed a set of Dannys sound suppressors and as you can see they are not all the way in against the shoulder and I still mea...

Re: New member here

Well, I made up a target out of laminated foam sheets and cardboard just so I could get out and shoot for the first time. Its a beautiful day here in Northeastern Pa. today. I started out at 15 feet just in case it was way off , I didn't want to miss the target all together (target size about 22&quo...

Re: New member here

Just ordered a bunch of stuff from Danny.....anybody using his string stop system? I was looking at REDS but ended up with his. PS..very good guy. I am sure he could tell that I was an extreme novice and he did not try to sell me a whole pile of stuff. In fact he advised against a couple things , ri...

Re: New member here

Ok...took my time assembling the bow but still had it all put together in 1/2 hour. I cocked and uncocked it a few times and everything went very smoothly. I need to pick up a target to sight it in now. I measured my brace height and it was 1 1/2". From what I read I guess I should leave it coc...

Diablo arrows that came with the bow, and 125 grain Spitfires. I have the Reds, which I like, and I am putting air brakes on. I wrapped my stirrup with t...

Re: New member here

Welcome to the forum.....You scored a great price on that package... I don't think I have ever read of one going that low.  Gene They must list one every day with no reserve, I just plunked in the most that I wanted to spend and let the chips fall where they may. I bid on 6 or 7 strai...
