Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

One of the guys over on CT used a mesh seat to support the head.

Looked like a good set up so I ordered one too.

Re: How old is old

I think I have some hunting socks that are 37! I'm 66, 6' 7", 285 lbs, 2 knee replacements, 2 hip replacements and a 12" surgery scar on my back. I'm still out there pounding it, dragging my own deer, and a few other peoples, and keeping up with or outdoing others. WHY? Because I choose to do so. Yo...

Whats a used Matrix riser worth?

I was just reminded that I have an extra Matrix riser (which I may keep with a set of limbs on it for a quick change out if needed).

Just curious, what's a used Matrix riser worth??

Re: Small hand held GPS

I have a brand new eTrex 10 by Garmin. I ordered two accidentally, long story there but I like the one I do have. If you want to do some research & see if this unit will work for you, I'll sell it to you for a very reasonable price. I'm not extending this offer to anyone else so please don't PM me....

Small hand held GPS

I'm in the market for a small, hand held GPS. I'm not well versed on them, but hear Garmin is probably the field leader. I don't need one with all sorts of options, basic get me there, get me back, leave waypoints and trails, accept mapping/hunting application chip and decent on batteries. (anything...

Re: Deer cart upgrade

Just got the crawler cart I ordered from Scheels on FRIDAY, today!! Fast shipping although the box did look like it was dropped out of an airplane from 20,000 feet, smashed, torn open about a foot with several other holes in it. (UPS  ) Fortunately no damage or missing parts. ONE THING I woul...

Hope it's everything people have said, I just ordered one from Scheels, $116 to my door.

Wish it had solid tires and straps, but the design looks good.
Regarding the tires, this is what I was told on another website:

"They are run flat tires. Full of some type of foam."

(Thanks Robert)

Re: busted in ground blind

I just started using a Doghouse ground blind 2 years ago. Been pretty impressed so far. While they're a little smaller than a hub blind, they are big enough for Xbow or rifle hunting and they are much easier to transport, set up and knock down. Shot my last 3 Xbow deer (2 bucks and a doe), my last g...

Re: 2019 Wisconsin Crossbow Use & Season report is out

Idk thunder. I have tree hugging friends who are hunters. Personally I prefer to have biologists/scientists making game management decisions vs politicians. To a degree, I think we're talking semantics here. MY definition of a "treehugger" is NOT a hunting environmentalist oriented towards managing...

Re: 2019 Wisconsin Crossbow Use & Season report is out

So is the long and the short of it , no changes crossbow hunters are good to go from now on? Yeah, I'd like to believe that, but I don't. The Wisconsin Bowhunters Assn is apocalyptic about crossbows and I don't see them going away for long or quietly. They have a proponent, Kaz, on the Natural Reso...

Re: Excalibur taking a beating.

I AM on Facebook, minimally, but here's a take: For those of my generation who do not, and cannot, comprehend why Facebook exists: I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles of Facebook. Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passers by what I ha...

Wildgame Innovations cameras customer service

I was just wondering if anyone here has had any contacts with Wildgame Innovations customer service. I mostly have Bushnell and Browning trail cameras, but bought 1 Wildgame last year. I have a couple questions about it. I've called their customer service line 3-4 times, all it does is put you on ho...

Re: Logging in to the Forum Problems

THANKS. Been logged in for a week now and so far, so good. That's happened in the past and then when I try to respond to a post, I get bumped off, lose the post response and have to log in, sometimes several times, and re-respond, sometimes several times, but it looks good so far. (EDIT: when I post...
