Re: Trigger tech
I’m going to give it another year. I’ll look at them again in the spring. Thanks for the response.

Re: Trigger tech
TT triggers are smooth, light, and have a nice break. But they also have issues with the claws bouncing back shut after the shot, and there was a thread here recently about how the case metal is pretty soft so the scope rail screws are easily stripped out. I've also noticed that the serving separat...

Trigger tech
I have a Matrix 405 that I love to shoot and I'm working on getting it to as close to zero as possible. The only thing I think I can do now is to add a trigger tech to her. I have read a ton of positive comments on trigger tech but I have also read the 405 trigger is better than average. So is it wo...

Re: Why so much upgrading??
If you take the sensible out of the equation, one can see why Excaliburs are so popular. I don't think any crossbow is as easily customized to the owner's dreams as Excalibur crossbows. People easily make it their own! Over on Crossbow Talk, a highly credential'd poster (tournament winner, 3x) stat...

Re: Why so much upgrading??
I bought an M405 last year and although I don't plan on buying another crossbow I will be upgrading her.I have already purchased a custom Flemish string from 8 point and Spynal Tap arrows from Jerry at SSA. I'm looking at the trigger tech right now and probably a better scope along with a bipod, new...

Re: Matrix & Trigger Tech
Yes I believe it is. They are separate parts. The dry fire mechanism is part of the scope mount with its own trigger/release. You can look up videos on youtube and find out how to take out the stock trigger and replace it with the trigger tech.

Re: Cocking on or off stand?
I shot a 8 point from my stand and with in minutes a seven point came in. I ended up not taking him but it was actually pretty easy to cock it in my stand and put in a bolt. I hunt at least 20' up and use a Gorilla climber tree stand.

Re: adjusted hunting techniques to climate change?
In 2013 and 2014 Michigans UP had so much snow, a early and over extended winter that we did not even bother going to deer camp in 2015. The heard was almost destroyed in our area.

Re: My matrix 405 lost her virginity tonight.
I can not figure out how to post a photo. I'm using Photobucket and getting very frustrated. I had help posting my one photo last time. Now I am getting "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached". I don't even know what that means.
