Re: Friend of mine bought a ravin crossbow
I looked at one at the local bass pro, and it seemed like a nice bow. At the time the archery range was closed so I couldn't shoot it, however, shouldering the bow I noticed how short the stock was and trying to get a comfortable hold and proper eye relief just didn't work. I use the wensel woodsman, 150 gr for whitetail and they drop quick. Close to 8 inches of cutting surface and they fly great out of my griz cub. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot any big are animal with one.

Re: SNAKE
Wow, glad you escaped without getting tagged. With a child around I think I would have shot it also, however, had you just left the area and come back a day or two later he would have been gone. If you have them hanging around your hunting area it sounds like some snake boots are in order for you an...

Question about Dr. Stirrup
Guys, I just added a stirrup to my griz cub and wondering if having a broadhead extend pass the guard is ok, other than it defeats the purpose of having the bh covered. For those of you who don't have one of these little beauties you should get one, they really do a great job of reducing the noise a...

Re: Red dot scopes
I have the original three dot that came with my cub a,d like it. Bright days can be tough but it's bright enough to see. I like the quick poa with this scope and being in the woods don't need the mag or range. 3 dots sighted in at30,40 and 50.

I've read that deer know when their numbers are low and will have more twins and triplets, never heard of quads but anything is possible.

Yea and he also left out the order he gave to have the elk dumped into a ditch. If he was truley sorry he would have fiedldressed the elk and called the warden,he's only sorry because he got caught and he's taking the heat in the community.
