Re: Grounded
That's a tough thing to find out but try to treat as a 'bump in road'. You can get through it still doing the things you love - don't give up. We have a great ability to adapt to challenges and attitude is very important. My motto has been 'it could be worse, I'll make the most of it'. Worked for me...

Got my Micro 355 replacement front end, thanks Peter
Well after a few days short of a month from when I sent it in my new front end has arrived!!! :D It is new and identical to the one that I sent in except it has a black and gray string rather than the blue one that came with it. Now I have to shoot it a few times before it sells or maybe I'll keep i...

Re: Tree Stand Umbrellas
I used one quite a bit in the past and worked very well if not really windy. Shot 2 or 3 bucks using it, it was nice on sunny days too. Haven't used it in a long time, now days I prefer ground hunting and have a chair blind for nasty weather. Probably should use it again for travelling light...thank...

Re: Truglo titanium broadheads
I picked up a pack of Titanium broadheads very similar to those, I think they were NAP branded, at Walmart a few years back for very cheap. I haven't found a bow that will shoot them consistently either vertical or horizontal. Mine don't spin true and I think are Ti nitride coated steel made in Chin...

Re: Spooked Deer Return
I agree with Boo and Vixenmaster, usually if they spook in my area but don't have a scent confirmation they come right back. When they see or hear something scary and don't smell it or circle downwind to scent check, they aren't that alarmed. I think it take multiple senses to really spook them out....

Re: Shot to vitals, bolt deflects into the guts!
Congratulations on your deer. I just had almost exact scenario this morning, I was on the ground at base of a big tree, deer was slightly angled toward me, about 40yds, relaxed and feeding on acorns. Hit the edge of the scapula and exited through front of ham wit 2.125" Swacker. No blood but I ...

Re: Where is customer service?
I sent my Micro 355 front end in over 2 weeks ago and still have not got my replacement. It's peak of the busy season and maybe caught in Customs if you are in US. I know it's tough but have patience and understand the logistics.

Re: M330 popping noise after cocking
Is your tiller still right on? Also check ends of your limbs where they attach to riser. Splits can occur within the limb along its length and show up at the end first.

Re: Lumenoks
My arrows are 16 BEES with either 90 or 110 grain brass inserts, I have both. They have Blazers, one set offset and one set helical and I shoot 125 grain Swackers or 100 grain depending on which insert. The arrow flight is OK until it gets windy and then the helicals do pretty well but the offset Bl...

Re: Micro Split Limb
My Micro 355 split a limb last week too and I called Dan Miller. He had me ship front end to him and called when he received it to tell me Excal is sending him a new front end to send me. Seems like an extra step in there but I am happy to get it replaced and he is a GREAT guy to deal with. He got m...

Re: My homemade vanilla killer recipe
Sounds great and probably real good in your tea or coffee. ..may have to give it a shot. Around here guys make something similar but instead of maple syrup they use apple cider. A friend uses it in a spray bottle to get a meat doe every year and tells me they come in licking their noses.

Re: Lumenoks
I just picked up my first set of Lumenocks. Sounds like you are not pulling them out far enough. There are 2 small wires that make contact with the arrow and it's easy to pull out the nock so it goes off but a small bump turns it back on. I pull them out around 2 mm and seems secure. That said I am ...
