Re: turkey hunting in the rain

Re: String Theory Help?
TIP: if your bow does not have a factory made brace height mark do this..... after you determine your correct BH, use a sharpie and put a small mark on the side of the rail then you will always have reference and know with a quick glance if your string needs to be adjusted Another great tip thanks!

Re: First Coyote
That was a successful hunt a 2 for 1 :D Congrats That story is stirring the curiosity in me, as well as the desire to get back out for a hunt, maybe my first yote hunt. Do you have plans for the kill? Take the hide? What else is/can be done with a coyote kill? At any rate, congrats again on a well-e...

Re: String Theory Help?
The distance from where the string crosses the rail to where the rail joins the riser is called the brace height. Some bows have a line scribed on the top of the rail to use as a brace height reference. You should decide on a BH that works well for your bow, and then keep your string at that exact ...

Re: String Theory Help?
Have another question about installing new string. When replacing the string with new what determines the proper length? Do we put a line on the rail, or measure the distance from bumpers or what?
Thanks for all the help this had been a educational thread for me and hope for others as well.

I found the bow course a near copy of the rifle one, and was disappointed that I learned wayyyyyyy more safety practices here than during my course.
