Re: Micro\Quill and NAP FOC redux. NO GO
Update Tried the 170gr FOCs on the factory quill arrows (for a total of 420gr) out of my mag340 and they shot great! I zerod at 20 then moved back to 30 and 40 and after adjusting the speed ring to about 330fps it was hitting dead on at every range. My longest shot would be between 30-40yrds out of ...

Re: micro accuracy results with different bolt weights
Just wanted to chime in, my mag340 shoots the quills with the 170gr FOC just as well as my 150 field points that came with my matrix arrows. I have yet to chrono it tho but going by the speed ring i am just over 310fps..

What arrow setup did he use with that FOC 170gr?

Re: Micro\Quill and NAP FOC redux. NO GO
Thank you for this post! I am expecting a mag340 shortly and have the 170gr FOC set up on my 350LE, i guess my plan to throw the heads onto the quill wont work out. Maybe ill try shooting the diablo/foc together with the mag340 and see how that works. I also have 150gr boltcutters i can try on the q...

Twilight DLX: is this normal?
So i finally tracked down a new scope for my crossbow and got a Twilight DLX from Excalibur. While everything seems fine with it (it sat in the mailbox for hours in -10 and then i brought it inside and didnt notice any condensation inside). The glass looks clear and the reticles light up properly. M...

Re: blinds
I bought the primos double bull surround view 360 blind (the blind without the blindspot) and that see through material is as amazing as it looks on the ads. It is such a weird feeling sitting inside and being able to see everything around you but then stepping out and not being able to see through ...

Re: Miserable weather
My dad has always said "every time ive hunted in miserable weather, ive only ever had a miserable time." Now being young and foolish that doesnt stop me from going out. But so far he's been right. Never seen a damn thing in miserable weather. Napping at the camp seems like a much better ti...

A few bucks over $500 (currency rate conversion of $650 CAN) gets you a 350LE from AL Flahertys in Canada. This was one of the sources of the original 350 deals a few years ago. https://www.alflahertys.com/collections/archery-and-airguns/products/excalibur-crossbow-matrix-350-le-with-dead-zone-scop...

Same here. My 350LE has a great trigger, never measured but it feels lighter than most of my rifles lol
