Re: Why does most justify a crossbow with an injury??
My state, like many others, only allowed crossbow use if you had a Doctor's form saying that you were not able to use a hand drawn and fired bow until last year. We saw lots of people 'cheat' and get permits when they were perfectly fine to shoot a vertical bow. They did it because it's easier to h...

Re: Why does most justify a crossbow with an injury??
I can remember not so long ago all the fighting over legalizing crossbows in WV,it started out as a handicap permit thing, then the real fight started, the WVBA,PBS all the organizations took shots at crossbows, they'll ruin archery season an such,an I was a member of all those groups but I never felt ...

Why does most justify a crossbow with an injury??
I'm a fairly new crossbow hunter an have been a life long recurve guy an still consider myself a trad guy,but I switched to a crossbow because my shooting has been inconsistent at best an I hate wounding animals..WV legalized xbows a couple years ago so I got 335 then 330 an just love them, they put ...

Re: Spare Limbs as a backup
We usually go to TX in Feb an Quebec in June an myself and the other 2 guys I go with always have either 2 bows or at least 2 sets of limbs with a couple strings along with some spare heads, glue, nock pliers an bow square but I broke ranks this year with the Excalibur,so this is all new to me..None o...

Spare Limbs as a backup
How many of you guys and gals carry a spare set of limbs on out of town trips?? I generally go on 2-3 out of town hunting trips a year an this will be my first in Feb with the Xbow,I've always took 2 sets of limbs when I used the recurve..My limbs snapped on my 335 a few months ago and I had it back...

Arrow Diameter an Brass inserts
In my short time as a crossbow owner,I've come to really like 80gr brass inserts up front but seem to be having a hard time trying to find different sizes..I bought a couple doz. .300 that seem just a tad lose for the Diablos an are way loose on 2219s.My question I guess would be what size am I look...

Re: Trigger tech triggers
Can't really answer the question about straight or curved triggers but I put a TT on my 335 micro an I can't tell a huge difference other than the TT not eating up the serving.I just recently got a 330 an am not real crazy about the stock trigger on it,been thinking about switching them all around a...

Re: Broadhead help
Thanks guys,I guess I'm going to have to full around with them some more if I want to shoot them..I really don't want to adjust the scope just for a certain broad head and really I'm not sure I could with woodsman because they're too erratic..We're into the season now an I don't think now's the time...

Broadhead help
I'm new to this crossbow thing but it puts a smile on my face everytime I shoot it..I've been a recurve guy my entire life (and still am),having a lifetime of traditional archery supplies around,I wanted to use The Wensel Woodsman 150gr.(since I have a bunch) for my 335 and 330 but I can't get consi...

Re: String problem or limb problem??
Thats a sickening feeling seeing that limb crack,I tried to post a couple pics but that didn't work either..As far as the WW heads go,I just felt they may be good heads for this,I don't use them for the recurve,I use a 2 blade but I do like the idea of a fixed resharpable head for the xbow..My first...
