my longest shot at a deer with the crossbow has been 30 yards .most of my shots 20 and under

good story and congraulations .it cool huntin with the wife sometimes :shock:

im from central ohio and aint heard nothin about the deer. i shoot a horton and have no problem with it.ive taken lots of deer 3 hogs and an elk with my horton so will shoot it till it lets me down 8)

i use 100 grain nap spitfires out of my crossbow and have had great sucess with them

i can shoot feild tips and broadheads out of my horton crossbow with out changin anything.ive shot it just for practice at 50 yards and it shot the same with feild points and broadheads. i will not take a shot on a animal at that distance was just curious the amount of difference it would have.

i agree with the purchase of the excalibur but there aint nothin wrong with horton either there good crossbows too

good crossbow there FLYINACE. i just bouhgt my wife a horton yukonsl and she went huntin for the first time with it last weekend and got her a wild boar. i shoot the horton hunter elite .

dont like the barnett have shot one and could not even give it away when wanted too get rid of it. my favorite is the HORTON HUNTER.EXCALIBUR good too. i would go with one of these models if i was loolin too buy one.

around 120 pounds each on the hook.noy huge hogs but goin too be good eatin

wish i could post pictures but no way of doin it but they were some real nice meat hogs

i think she is really hooked now with huntin. she sat there and shook for a along time after she shot and saw the hog drop.cant wait too see what she does on a deer now.

just got back from hog huntin and man what a day ended up i got 2 hogs and she got 1
