Re: cub/ grizzley comparrison

I have a Cub and a Grizzly, with the same string, arrow and brace hight( string right on the bh line) my Cubs 3 fps faster than the Grizzly.
The Cubs riser is also thinner than the Grizzlies which makes the bow a little lighter also.

Re: Matric Cub question

Purchase the Cub bare bow. Replace the hardware with the titanium hardware kit. Add a reflex sight and kwiki kwivers air 3 quiver, its even lighter than the regular kk3 but with a larger hood for your boltcutters and slicktricks. You can use the same arrows from your 355.

Re: 350 SE or LE arrows

Won't the 20 inch arrows with broadhead stick out past the foot sturip?? I prefer my broadheads to sit just inside the sturip, that way if I'm hunting in a blind I can rest the bow stirrup down and keep the Brodhead out of the dirt and if I forget to remove an arrow after hunting I simply kick it ou...

Re: 335?

It's true, you can shoot just about any 100-125gr head. The stock quills and Diablos shoot a little better with a heavier 150gr head. You can easily pull the 38g aluminum insert and add a 1/2- 5/8" long 8-32 Cap head screw ( 30-40g) to the back of it. Or replace it with the a brass insert. You ...

Re: Trigger Tech recall turn-around

I have issues with my replacement trigger. Was told by TT it's perfectly safe to use and they'll get back to me as soon as they figure out the fix.

Re: question about triggers- Exomax vs Matrix

I've got an Exomax (last generation, full-camo) that's at a machinist to get the mainframe shortened so I can mount a Matrix front end to it. The powerstroke will be really close to a Matrix 380 in length, maybe 1/4" longer (so quite a bit shorter than the 405). I'm wondering, with the added p...

Re: Matrix String

Yes,it's a good idea to have a back up. Ideally the back up should be the same (strand count/material) if you're still shooting the stock EL string just buy another one and stretch it out. Or you can have one of the string twisters here make you 2. Jefro

Re: Leupold Scope on Capt. Jack Sparrow

The 1x4 Leupold with heavy duplex is perfect for thick woodland hunting. I've got one on my crossbow and 45-70. Nice and light also. There's a 1x4 vx2 in the trading post. Jefro

Re: Rifle scopes on xbows

What Norm said, the old "crossbow recoil will ruin a rifle scope " is just some marketing mumble jumble. For years I've used the leupold 1x4 with a heavy duplex. The best thing about that scope is it's versatility I've had it on: 12ga slug/turkey gun 50 caliber muzzleloader 44mag lever gun...

Re: Matrix string length?

What's the consensus on the ideal loop size? Also for you string twisters if you were making a string specifically for a matrix grizzly/Cub would you alter the length a little to achieve a 1 1/2" brace ht. ?? Jeff
